If you asked me a year ago if I would be where I was today, I would have politely laughed in your face.

I’ve learned to give myself time, to give myself patience, to give myself a chance.

I fell in love with a part of myself that I thought was gone forever. A part of me that seemed so far from arms reach that it was only a distant memory of who I used to be.

I was wrong, and I’ve never been so happy to be wrong in my life.
