i am a very-amateur birding enthusiast, and i'm making this primarily for myself as a sort of catalog of the better bird photos i've taken, but if you enjoy birds then we can share the joy of fat little dinosaurs that live in my yard

let it be known that some of these pics are not from my yard, but all pics i post are taken by me, and none are edited at all (unless specified)

feel free to let me know if any of the info i post with the bird photo is wrong!

i update queue approximately every week, and it is shuffled so photos are not monotonous (to prevent, for example, if i take five good pics of one bird and queue it over five consecutive days)

While Skateboarding isn't a common hobby or career path for most finches, this is just one small look into Jibby Finchy P Java Finch the most successful finch skater that has ever skote. While he makes it look easy, some Finches have completely fallen and eaten total shit while trying to skate- but as always, Jibby makes it look easy. Just a hop tweet and a skate away, he still remains a powerful example of awesome finches

The Serviceberry is already blooming (usually in May), and there is a lot of wooing going on the the yard. The Redwinged Blackbirds are so expressive, especially on a sunny day. It is funny to me how their looks range from gloriously magnificent to hilariously goofy. Nature! I'd be weak too if I was a RWBB girl 🤩😁
