Hi there, welcome to my blog, if you couldn't already tell this is a Limbus OC blog focused on a LCCA team that probably shouldn't have their jobs.
WHY ARE THEY ALL MUSIC?
As we all know the original cast of Limbus Company is all based upon books. Now truth be told I have not ready many books that could translate well into Limbus Characters, however, I fucking love music. So we doing music now.
WHO AM I?
I'm Lazy, a British Bloke who really likes the world of Project Moon I guess.
WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?
The team consists of 7 employees each based off of popular, or what I think is popular, music. They are;
Employee 13-A: Ana Ng
Ana is a young man with familial ties to the Zwei Association, something he's not too thrilled about. He is based off of the music of They Might be Giants including the song from which he gets his name and Birdhouse in your Soul.
Employee 13-B: Penelope Horn
Penelope Horn is a former Inventor from T-Corp who still prides herself on the status of her past. Her inspiration is Golden Brown by the Stranglers and the Buggles' Video Killed the Radio Star
Employee 13-C: Yoko Osks
Yoko is a middle aged woman from N-Corp. Don't ask about her relation with her children. Inspired by the music of Yaelokre, particularly Harpy Hare, and Abba's Slipping Through my Fingers.
Employee 13-D: Stanford Barrett
Stanford is a former Boatswain from U-Corp, he's actually just kinda normal. Unless?
He's inspired by the music of Stan Rogers such as white squall, and Barrett's Privateers.
Employee 13-E: Leslie Scott
Leslie is a former L-Corp maintenance staff. The horrors are very real and she can comprehend them all too well. She is inspired by the Will Wood's Memento Mori and Leslie Fish's Engineers Hymn.
Employee 13-F: Roland Zevon
Roland is a man from G-Corp. He had a brother once. He is inspired by Warren Zevon's Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner and The Man who Sold the World (but the Nirvana version).
Employee 13-G: Charles Vivaldi
The conscripted leader, he really needs the cash okay? Inspired by Vivaldi's Four Seasons. (Very much still a Work in Progress)
And I didn't answer you on Discord either. Some things are best left unanswered, some knowledge best left forgotten.
You could learn a lot from Lovecraftian fiction.

Also hi, I'm back, apologies for disappearing. Life sometimes looks you dead in the eye and says 'Hey, do you want to live? Well tough shit, we're living now!' and you've kinda gotta roll with it.
So while writing the next character post I had an idea most ingenious (it's so stupid). We know how Ricardo's music is diagetic and genuinely plays whenever he is around through seemingly unknown means.
What if there was a Big Brother of the Middle who's whole thing was Modern Major General from the Pirates of Penzance.
Like he's got a troupe or squadron of little brothers and sisters of the middle that follow him around and are his backup singers, hypemen, and his personal orchestra. So someone asks who the hell he is and cue the start of the song with 'yes yes he is a big brother!'.
His actual vocabulary is rather limited and he struggles with rhyming so at least one of his crew has to always carry around a thesaurus and dictionary to aid him.
The jingling in the melody is so his chains bouncing around as he walks. The pace of the song is based entirely around this guy's energy and enthusiasm, hence why it gets faster as it goes on.

You haven't heard of me? Then you surely must be gathering around the wrong circles, my good director! I am Penelope Horn, happy to be of service.
Penelope was born and raised in T-Corp in a wealthy family where she took a heavy interest within the development of technology, particularly in the field of audio recording and transmission. She was a socialite at heart and would often be seen flaunting her wealth and latest inventions at the more refined gatherings.
That was ten years ago.
Penelope was working on her next great leap but found herself up against a wall, her usual spring of inspiration had dried up. To try and reinvigorate herself she decided to visit the famed beaches of U-Corp, as perhaps she just needed a break away from the hustle and bustle of T-Corp and a weekend in the sun.
For this trip, she booked herself a first-class ticket on a W-Corp Warp Train thinking she'd rather ride in style than face the rumours she'd heard regarding the economy class on Warp-Trains. Unfortunately, as mentioned in Limbus Company, W-Corp is on its way out.
Penelope woke with a start on her journey, believing that they'd already arrived, she waited patiently for her capsule to open. She waited, and waited more, and then waited a bit more. It didn't open. She had awoken midway through the journey as a power failure had turned off the cryosystem. Without a need to eat or hydrate, she could do nothing but wait for them to arrive at their destination in the cramped space. It didn't take long for panic to set in and for her to begin thrashing at her pod, desperate to try and find a way to get it open.
A funny thing about the human brain is when it suffers enough mental trauma it shuts down parts of the body to preserve itself. Thanks to this nifty little feature she found herself rapidly phasing in and out of consciousness as the brain struggled to comprehend what was happening to it until the system corrected itself and the cryopod reactivated.
When they arrived in station it was presumed the electric fault was a false alarm and Penelope was allowed to go on her way. Another funny thing about the mind is when it shuts down parts of the brain it also does it's best to outright remove any memory of the trauma. This is often a very flawed system.
Thankfully she was able to find some joy in her time at U-Corp. though there was a constant nagging in the back of her mind, especially on rare occasions when she found herself alone at night. She found it easier to sleep without any bedding, when she was able to sleep, it was restless and fitful.
She had a thankfully uneventful return trip, though she found herself panicking at the sight of the train for reasons she couldn't quite explain, having to force herself to step forward onboard.
Over the following months and years Penelope found her mental health plummeting at she was taunted by constant, unending nightmares, and as traumatic memories began to resurface. She originally found comfort in alcohol and tobacco as a way to 'shut down her thoughts' and not to think for an evening. Eventually, that stopped working and she moved on to harder substances.
This avoidance of her problems would have a knock-on effect on her life as her coping mechanisms caused her to become non-functional with even basic self-care falling to the wayside. She withdrew from many social circles and isolated herself.
It was in this state that Limbus Company found her and offered her an out. Giving her employment and lodging in exchange for her service with them. Being in a financial pit thanks to her inability to hold work in this state and overall desperation, she took the job.
While working with the company, she has been seen to take great pride in her appearance, seeming to have made almost a 180 on her previous state, and continues to act as if she was still that same inventor 10 years ago. Few realise that this is a front and when the door is closed and the lights are off, she still cannot sleep with any bedding, though Ana often helps with that.
He is not as important as he assumes.
Hi all bit of an update since it's been nearly two months since I last made a proper post on this.
This isn't dead, I'm still working on this, I've just been dealing with the last stretch of University and academic writing takes a lot out of you. Happy to say that I have now graduated and can continue working on this. Expect to see more in the coming days.
Well, this has received a much better response than I expected, thank you all. Without further ado the first in-depth character introductory page
EMPLOYEE-13-A Ana Ng
Ana was born into a richer family within the nest of K Corp. The family earned their generational wealth from a recent ancestor, Ana's Great(x2) Grandfather to be specific, his grandfather was a grade 5 fixer who worked with the Zwei association. His grandfather, though not a colour, insisted that he would one day become such and so declared himself the 'Blue Canary' this dream would never become a reality, however, the title was able to find grip within the family and his enthusiasm caught on.
This would lead to a tradition being formed within the family in which all children would be trained in defensive sword fighting and dueling. Their best and brightest would inevitably sign on with the Zwei Association and attempt to earn their title, this has yet to be achieved despite many dedicating their entire lives to such. Ana was not exempt from this tradition either and some of his earliest memories involve some lessons on basic form and stance before growing up learning how to effectively wield a broadsword.
As Ana grew up he began to resent the set-out life before him, eager to branch out and make something for himself within his life, he began to hate the training and expectations that befell upon him as a trap and unwanted persona forced upon him. It would take a while for Ana to openly reject what his family had bestowed upon him, fearing the reaction, however, his unwillingness was noticed. Eventually, Ana formally announced his disillusion with the plan laid out for him to the Family.
The Ngs responded by immediately disowning him and stripping him of all benefits that came with the family name, including the protection contract, kicking him out onto the street. It was in this state that Ana found Limbus Company.
The job may have been life-threatening and the pay was anything but appealing but Ana was desperate for something to bide him by.
While working with the company Ana has struggled to maintain professional relations with other members of the unit, most notable of this is Penelope with whom he spends many a night.

So I was going to do stuff like this after I've posted the first character-specific introduction but your last semester at university really hampers your ability to write and this was easy to cobble together while I worked on assignments.
Anyway, I saw this trend going around on Twitter which was characters via their music tastes so here's that for team-13.

The Stanford Prison what now? I ain't heard anything of it but, look kid, if you're after some legal advice I'd ask Yoko or Roland. They seem to know about that sort of thing, more than me anyway.
