Why is no one talking about this?

Incoming Miraculous Ladybug Theory guys I think we all got a bit too distracted by Bananoir in Feast to take in everything it gave us. For example, Fu canonically has siblings??! At least 2? One being a sister who I’m presuming he was fairly close to? So Fu possibly has living relatives that are direct descendants of his siblings. Possibly characters we’ll get to meet huh?

(Like really, look at these two, this must have been devastating)

Or is it possible that we’ve known these relatives the entire time? And that they are none other than our very own Marinette and Sabine? Think about it, Marinette’s maternal family is Chinese. The Temple of the Miraculous where the monks live is in Tibet, a southwestern region of China.

Let’s also not forget about Marinette’s great-uncle the famous Chinese chef Wang Cheng. A great-uncle who still lives in China, and speaks minimal English (French?) (I actually went to look this up and I present you with, “While his native language is Mandarin, he is able to speak a little English, although he states his abilities are terrible.” In case anyone else was curious.)

But Wang Cheng huh? Wang Cheng. Wang. Seem familiar? Because it just may. Wang is Master Fu’s first name. Master Wang Fu Coincidence?! I think not. I think Fu’s loving younger sister went on to keep Wang a family name and have it passed on through the generations even if she lost her surname through marriage. For us to now arrive at his like great-x7-niece Marinette Dupain-Cheng (In case you’re wondering, I did do math to come to the conclusion of that approx. 7 greats. Because here’s some canon numbers I have for you: -Master Fu is 186 and a half years old -The show takes place in the year it debuted 2015 (though since months/Christmas has canonically passed it’s now 2016) -This means Master Fu was born in 1829 -The temple was destroyed 172 years before -The year this happened is stated in the news report to be 1844 -Master Fu was selected to become a guardian when he was younger than Marinette, so he was 13 at the oldest -Master Fu was 15 at the time of the temple’s destruction -Fu’s siblings are younger (I approx. the sister is ~2 years younger) -France was taken in 1940 in WW2, so Fu was 111 in the backwarder flashback)

So I’m headcanoning this for now I also want to add in the fact that not only does Sabine enjoy meditating, I’d like to remind everyone that she’s skilled in martial arts. Not sure if it’s relevant but the reminder of how badass she is, is always nice. But perhaps this was like pseudo-guardian training. And this is why it’s also hard to akumatize her.

Last song I listened to: It was actually at a concert I went to yesterday! One of my favorite singers, Lara Fabian, sang “Je t'aime” as her encore. It was magnificent. I always knew she was a master of technique and emotion but this was beyond my imagination.

Meaning behind URL: It’s from the book Les Misérables. After the leader of the student revolutionaries, Enjolras, gets shot and the rebellion fails, the government soldiers are brought to trial. One of them remarks, “There was an insurgent whom I heard called Apollo.” or something of the sort. Enjolras is my favorite character and the whole reason why I created a Tumblr in the first place was to join the Les Mis fandom. (And later the black parade.)

Luka strummed the last note on his guitar. Kitty Section was thriving and they were about to go onstage for their very first performance on their very first tour. 'Hopefully it goes as well as the rehearsal.'

.....

The crowd was going wild. Kitty Section all walked onto the stage and took their positions. They greeted the audience and began their set.

The stadium was filled with the percussion of stomping, jumping and dancing feet. Everyone was having a good time.

.....

The sun was coming down and the band played slower and slower songs to calm the audience. Eventually, the sun left completely and left the stadium in the dark, other than the stage.

As Kitty Section played their last song, the whole audience took out flashlights, glows ticks and phone lights. They swayed loosely to the beat, wishing the night wouldn't end.

As the band finished up their song, they curiously stayed where they were.

Rose, the lead singer, stood up to the microphone and asked, "Could Marinette Dupain-Cheng please come up to the stage, we have a surprise for you."

From the audiences point of view, a short young woman trembled onto the edge of the stage. The lead guitarist, Luka, took her hand and pulled her towards the middle, where a camera focused on her and her image came into the large screen behind them.

Rose smiled, "Marinette is our costume designer and Luka's girlfriend," a few disappointed groans filled the stadium but they were overtaken by the aws of the majority of the audience.

She giggled and continued, "We may not have always been the best friends to her but she has always done her best to be good to us. Today is her birthday, and Luka has a very special present for her."

The camera swivelled to the couple just in time to see live footage of Luka getting down on one knee and pulling out a ring.

Marinette put a hand over her mouth and sobbed. Luka said something to her that the audience wasn't able to hear, but it looked like something along the lines of, "Will you marry me?"

A vigorous nod came from the girl and he slipped on the ring onto her finger.

Suddenly, band picked up their instruments and played, 'Happy Birthday.' The girl they were singing it for was a blushing but smiley mess.

The next day... Well let's just say 'Furry rock star proposes to designer girlfriend,' is an overnight hit on YouTube.
