Art I commissioned from my best friend @/_a.goddamn.nerd_0 on Instagram <33
An amalgamation of what remains of Neo and Agent Smith.
Zenith seeks to find the purpose of his existence. The full extent of his abilities is complex and still unknown to him, so he tries to limit using them.
Due to the nature of what he is, Zenith has to constantly be on the run from Agents who target him for deletion. Programs like the Merovingian meanwhile wish to exploit his powers.
Zenith believes that somewhere out in the vast world of the Matrix, he’ll find his “parents”.
Also Matrix OC template by @hovershiplogos that I’ve wanted to do ever since I created Zenith.
i just stumbled across a very cool interview with one of the sculptors who worked on the matrix, belinda villani, which you can find and read here :)
but i want to specifically highlight the parts about her agent smith sculptures. bc of course, i do X3
though i kinda ramble for a while, so it's going under a cut >;P
so it starts off like this↴
i just love the way she describes this moment, "like the digital information has been deformed"; harking back to the notion that the fights within the matrix are like that because it's within the matrix. the over the top, oft ridiculous action (affectionate) is the way it is not just to look cool but as an intentional way of highlighting its simulated nature, especially when compared to the more grounded fights of the real world....
(sidenote: i'm not 100% sure if that's the storyboard panel she's talking about bc i did see another one, but i couldn't get a good picture of the other so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (either way, i likewise love it)) (i found it here btw)
anyway, next is the actual sculpting :D ↴
ah !!! look how cool they are !! these are actual things that exist (or, at least, once existed) in the world; physical versions of smith getting completely decked in the face.. the world is a beautiful place <3
(the second pic is from the interview itself, but the first (along with the next few) i found on this prop auction site)
now, one last interview excerpt ;P ↴
i find the idea, not to mention the image itself, of her just playing with his face to see what it does so so funny XD dude had to deal with so much messing about to make the smith clones and such a reality. but it was very worth it. to me :3
but going back to that aforementioned prop auction site, what they were actually selling was this !!! ↴
it's a fibreglass replica of the sculpture, apparently (as mentioned on the site) there were another 44 also made and distributed to the crew, along with this unique solid bronze version ↴
!!! which is just.... ha ha wow ¦D this beauty belongs (belonged(?)) to one of the films' producers and was kept in his office for 20 odd years. can you imagine that ? a sculpture of you getting your shit rocked remade dozens of times over and kept in people's homes and workplaces as decoration ? it sounds surreal, yet it's hugo weaving's reality. lmao
anyway. i'm done rambling now. i hope you enjoyed these littl tidbits as much as i do. uh.... peace out ✌︎︎
I have a lot of characters on my Tomdachi game; here's my group of 'evil computer/robots'. AM, Master Control Program, HAL 9000, Agent Smith, MODUS, GLaDOS and Wheatley. I gave them all at least eyebrows and a mouth (hahahahahaha, AM probs shouldn't have one but whatever I like the funny looks) so they can do expressions.
AM I just put together whatever as he has no canon appearance (and I am not keen on the fanon bird design either). Thinking I should give him a suit like all the others...
Master Control is in blue because I always remembered him being the blue head so... oh well (I do have a giant cone red one as a decoration though)... also I mostly based his face off my my own crappy sketches of him because I find it amusing.
The character hanging out with MODUS in the last shot is an OC. :3
btw I actually don't think HAL 9000 is evil... but I had to include him.
Basic Fandom Etiquette Everyone Needs to Remember:
Creators do not owe anyone content. Do not ask writers when they will update.
If an author did not ask for criticism , do not give criticism.
Read the tags carefully before reading a fanfic.
If you ignored the tags and were upset, that is your responsibility, not the creator’s.
Disliking a ship does NOT give you the right to attack people who enjoy it.
Do not tell authors or shippers that their ship is “disgusting,” “wrong,” or “shouldn’t exist.” Shipping fictional characters is not a moral failing.
No one is obligated to justify why they ship two fictional characters.
Headcanons are PERSONAL interpretations, not universal truth.
Dark themes in fiction do not equal real life beliefs or intentions.
Leaving kudos or short positive comments genuinely matters.
Not every fanwork is made for you, and that is okay.
Scrolling past content you dislike is better than engaging negatively
Enjoying a fandom later than others does not make someone less of a fan.
Disliking a fanfic does not entitle you to announce that to its creator. Sending hate comments to authors is NEVER justified, even if you disliked the work.
taking a break from The matrix to draw Fahrenheit 451 yaoi slop....
i love this book alot also bradbury is really good at writing homosexual tension but i feel like that was unintentional.. or was it? but thats just a theory! a book theory! or something idk.
I genuinely don't know if someone made the Matrix version of this trend but I had so much fun making this😼😼😼 This audio was truly the perfect pretext to mention underrated characters like Switch and The Woman in Red, my favorite blonde baddies!
I loveeee the matrix.... @leaiii - Tumblr Blog | Tumgag
