It’s like someone went crazy with a label maker and I love it.
How can you forget this gem??
@oneicedragon
Bonus:
Being yellow lanterns legit puts Shaggy and Scooby in the same league as the Scarecrow. Amazing. Also i need fanart of that idea and i need it now tbh
Commission for @smaug721 – they asked for dancing BTAS Crane with a graceful bow at the end :) I designed a few spooky poses and moves for him as kind of a creepy signature ‘scarecrow dance.’ Animated in OpenToonz.
I ain’t dead btw
I just found myself really busy with art commissions and university stuff. I still check in tho and my discord is still lively
Bringing this back. ‘Cause reasons.
Wait shit it’s spooky month I need to scarecrow this place
Hell yea my riddler blog has almost surpassed my pokemon one in follower count
Maximum power
Sometimes you come across a panel so baffling, that literally any other pose could have been used to communicate an idea. Here is a panel of the Riddler picking a lock. Dunno what the artist wanted to show us.

Harley & Ivy in “Love is Love” (2016)
Hmm. Is it an unpopular opinion to say I don’t like the Arkham Riddler that much? Like I love his voice, his design is fine, and he can be hilarious at times but… a g h, there’s just something really off feeling about the way he’s written. It’s like if the writers opened up a psychology textbook, threw darts at it, and then just went down a traits checklist. He feels really hollow like some one trick pony that gets all his ‘character’ from the fact that he’s narcissistic and supposedly has OCD. I haven’t actually played through any of the games so I can’t say anything for the other rogues but Eddie alone just rubs me the wrong way from what I’ve seen of him
Honestly, I find some similar issues with him to. And it sucks because, usually, a Riddler gets me aggravated but in a fun way. Like, just the normal Riddler in general has this aggravating but enjoyably so thing about him, but the Arkham version doesn’t have the pizazz, the charisma, of that guy. He’s just, straight annoyance. Without any real fun or pop to it. He’s to serious, and I swear Arkham Riddler has an emotional range from slightly pleased, to angry, to aggrevated, fo annoyed, but never that real…Riddler levels? Like, it just lacks that certain part that screams Riddler, the eccentricness. In other news, he never really smiles in the game and just, the ‘serious’ look on his face just. Isn’t Ed. In other news, the Arkham Knight Race Tracks are the bane of all existence.
Like, I get where you’re coming from and, I’ve played most of the games to 100, and I’m sorry for this lil’ add on
Valid addition cause I agree that he lacks a ton of the Riddler’s usual charm. It’s like the general rule of writing annoying characters, “Make them annoying for the other characters, not the audience”. As in we’re supposed to enjoy watching Batman’s deadpan expression as he solves the absolute shittiest punny riddles. Even the more serious Riddlers need charm in order to really feel like the Riddler. Think about how much of a delight versions like BTAS Riddler are on screen. He’s sending our heroes on an obnoxious wild goose chase but you have fun watching him and what he comes up with.

batman after punching the riddler right in the face: oh he’s just sleeping
Gonna rant for a bit
I really dislike this fandom mentality of “oh only the Joker can display bad behavior, everyone else is precious soft cinnamon rolls who can do no wrong and if you do write them doing wrong then you are a bad writer who makes them ooc!”
Like, it’s so stupid. If you honest to god actually think that the Joker is the only awful person in the Rogues gallery and if you think people liking the Joker automatically means that they support abuse then wow I have no words for how ridiculous you are.
Harley is a bad person. Riddler is a bad person. Scarecrow is a bad person. Mad Hatter is a bad person.
They. Are. All. Bad. People. Who. Do. Bad. Things.
So can we quit acting like Joker is the only horrible one and turn a blind eye to the horrible shit the other rogues have done? Oh and while we are at it, can we not give other fans shit for having dark headcanons or writing dark fanfics?
I do also want to add this:
There is nothing wrong with wanting to portray the rogues in a more lighter tone. I have seen wonderful fan works where the rogues are in a more softer tone.
My main issue is fans treating the softer tone as the only way to portray the rogues and harassing others who do portray the rogues in a dark tone with darker headcanons, fanfictions, art, etc.
I have seen this happen a lot with the Riddler. Some of the more lighter and comedic stuff is nice but that doesn’t define him. He is a disturbing person and he has hurt and killed people before.
What I am trying to get at is, don’t treat your portrayals of the rogues and your headcanons as canon and don’t give other fans shit for not living up to your expectations.
THIS IS THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE BRUCE CHARACTERISATION
my specialty is mega annoying ed and very embarrassed oswald
