Headcanon/Prompt:

Todoroki x Female MC

8 years after HaLWX

Todoroki Yosuke, along with the other full-time Oyakou members, has created a private security agency with Todoroki as the CEO.

He still remains as stoic as he is but takes his job very seriously.

He easily gets stressed and pissed when an assignment has some issues but relying on his friends (Fujio and the gang) always helps resolve the issues.

As Oyakou alumni, they still look after the district as part of their mission (Todoroki assigned Fujio to lead this group).

Though very diligent, with the help of his friends, he has learned to take things easy and unwind when they could.

He hasn't dated in a long time because most girls just go after his looks and status, so he mainly focused on his responsibilities and only hang out with his friends (including Odajima).

The boys once again set up a dating mixer and upon remembering the funny and failed encounter they had back in high school, Todoroki decided to go just to witness his friends fail hitting on girls for the hundredth time.

You are finishing your master's degree.

You are working part time on a bakery (since you started college) to help pay for your expenses.

You also haven't dated since your 3rd year in college because your last boyfriend cheated on you.

Your best friend from the same department tagged you along (by force) to go to a dating mixer because she thought it's time for you to get to know someone.

During the mixer, Todoroki immediately caught your eye because of how he carried himself. Something about him was different from the other guys.

While doing the introductions, he only curtly bowed to you, so you took it as him not being interested in you.

He was the quiet type but also wasn't dismissive when being talked to. He didn't crack jokes like his friends, but he smiled, smirked, or laughed when he found something funny.

Still, you couldn't help but steal glances at him because when he laughed or smiled at one of his friends' jokes, it made your heart skip a beat.

It was obvious that he was annoyed at the girls who were pushy and aggressively flirted with him, but he was being a gentleman on how he turned their advances down.

You easily got along with his friends (some from Oyakou, some from Housen) because they were so funny, and they enjoyed your comebacks.

In the middle of it all, your best friend and Odajima were in their own world, your best friend completely forgetting about you. She looked happy and they obviously liked each other, so you didn't get in their way.

Those who found each other interesting also started pairing up and talked to each other.

Feeling out of place and a little skeptical about mixer relationships, you decided to head outside for a breath of fresh air.

You were startled when a manly voice suddenly asked you if you regretted coming. When you turned around, it was Todoroki who was already outside long before you, reading something from his phone.

He told you he recognized you as one of the girls from the mixer and that he thought his friends could handle themselves, so they probably don't need him around.

You told him about your best friend being engrossed with a conversation with Odajima. He told you that if Odajima found your friend interesting, you might as well consider going home alone. He awkwardly paused and stuttered because he realized the rudeness of his joke and his reaction made you laugh, taking zero offense to what he said.

You exchanged jokes and laughs with each other, mainly about his friends.

Small talks led to you telling each other about yourselves.

When he noticed you were slightly trembling from the chilly night breeze, he asked you if you wanted to go to a cafe somewhere.

You tried your best to conceal how surprised you were at his offer. You couldn't believe that he might be a little interested in you and the conversation you already had. Wearing the most casual smile you could, you agreed.

None of you used the map to look for a cafe nearby and just strolled around the block and the next, carrying on with your random topics.

At the coffee shop, your conversation with him continued smoothly and naturally without being forced.

It was already past 2:00 AM when you both remembered to check the time.

While you were both silently waiting for the ride you booked for yourself on your phone, he broke the silence and asked for your number.

You were smiling like a teenager on the ride home thinking about Todoroki and any interesting thing he mentioned to you that night.

Your phone pinged, "Good night. Would be nice to see you again soon (if you'd like). -Todoroki," an unknown number texted you.

That night, you know for sure, you've finally come to like someone again after a long time.

todoroki scares the shit out of you at first meeting

it’s red dawn and you’re in front of your house to open the door

and when you turn around, you see him, standing as a statue on the corner of the street and staring at you

he has his poker-face

you’re scared

but it’s not that dark and you’re not that clever (you think so), so you decide that the best way to understand what the hell is going on is to ask him directly

but he runs away and you’re not able to get him no matter how much you want to

luckily nothing strange happens that night

but you notice him some days later when you come home again

and when he starts coming to you with this aggressive face, you’re pretty ready to fight for your life

but he passes you and kicks two guys who appeare hell knows from where

so in the end: you’re completely lost and understand nothing, todoroki has a scrape on his cheek and guys are well beaten

it turns out (while he threatens them and they say they won’t come near you anymore) that their gang was said that you’re a woman who sells drugs and you’re interfered in some problems and so on, but the informant gave them the wrong person and you just look very similar

and as this problem with drugs was important for many schools, todoroki decided to talk with this woman himself

but you’re not her

and when he noticed that you were followed

well, that’s why he was following you – he was not scaring you, he was frightening off these bastards

it’s alright right now

when he briefly describes this situation to you, you don’t even have time to thank him properly

he just says “it’s done” and leaves

damn it you think

but you somehow manage to suggest he’s from oya high

and you tend to think you’re a polite person

so you come there to thank him

does anyone know who put the whole school on it? yeah it’s you

these boys are too stunned to speak cause you’re just standing in the middle of the yard and looking for someone to ask how to find this man

luckily for you fujio (you think he’s rather cute) freaks out and shows you the way

and well

all school freaks out too because todoroki spills out his juice when he sees you

you smile sincerely and thank him finally

you look at each other, he’s with his a little bit more shocked poker face and you’re with shining eyes

and well you’re a bit confused cause the whole damn school looks at your too and you hear someone whispers “has our todoroki found a girlfriend?”

and guess what

you escape

you notice him following you on your way back home for the whole week

you know he knows you know he’s looking after you

and you also know he doesn’t stalk, just makes sure you’re okay

that continues for a week more

until you stop, turn back and ask him if he’s hungry

to be honest, you grow to like being the cause of his hardly noticeable shocked face

but you feed him dinner anyway

he doesn’t talk, just eats and sometimes peeks at you

you just laughs silently

so you invite him home more and more often

the more it continues, the longer he stays

he starts talking

so one day he leaves around midnight cause you two got lost in the conversation

fujio faints when you two start dating

it’s like

you two seat there with reserved looks on your faces

you read, he reads

you don’t talk

but when someone from oya (expect for todoroki’s friends) makes a slightest way up to you, he glares at them so fiercely that it’s just killing

you literally don’t know if you’re pleased with his protectiveness or you should interfere each time or otherwise he’ll definitely kill someone

it’s not abusive protectiveness by the way

he just knows that gangs are dangerous

you saw his devil fight mode for the first time when some drunk man offends you

and well you truly have to put all your power to keep your man away from killing

it’s well-known he’s crazy in his devil mode

and well it seems that this mood has one more case for appearing

cause when kisses you

damn it, it’s boiling

he’s so passionate

like you feel he tries to hold back cause he doesn’t want to do anything against your will or scary your or anything else

but his desire just shows off whenever you touch him, kiss him or just stay near

it’s not something dirty, he's just overwhelmed with his feelings

when he reads and you take a book from his hands, take off his glasses, slick back his hair and kiss him firstly on eyelids and then on lips

he losses it

he’s far from this cute and always cuddling and so boyfriend, but you want him as he is

DATING TODOROKI YOSUKE

☆ This dude is cocky as hell and we all know it.

☆ Though you definitely aren't his first serious relationship, he loves you more than anyone.

☆ He's an attractive guy and he is very aware of that fact, meaning he has had quite a few flings and lots of girls swooning over him, but he only has eyes for you.

☆ He hasn't really thought about relationships all that much after starting at Oya High, seeing as he has been on a bit of a mission to become the leader. Once his obsession with power dies down is when he finds you and let me tell you, he's smitten with you.

☆ He probably went through a phase just before his confession where he was flirting like his life depended on it, I mean he had always teased and flirted with you since the day you both met, but he lays it on thick when he is close to confessing how he feels about you.

☆ I think he's definitely worries about coming off as a dick to you, like he knows he can be harsh sometimes but he really tries not to be that way around you.

☆ He's for sure the kind of guy to read to you, when you both are alone together he will read out loud or even if your having trouble sleeping, he has an incredibly soothing voice.

☆ He's above average in smarts but he honestly has a hard time getting his head around how different you are compared to the other ditzy women he's been with, like you're so generous and loving, you're not just in it for his looks or body.

☆ He protects you from nearly anything, he stops you from tripping and makes sure you don't hit your head on anything.

☆ He opens doors for you and pulls out your chair.

☆ Pinches your cheeks and then kisses them.

☆ Sometimes you just leave him speechless by existing, it's like his brain just shuts down and he's stuck staring at you.

☆ You both argue every few months and you both get loud, never violent or harmful but you both always end up yelling at eachother. Todoroki's issue when it comes to arguments is he won't admit that he is in the wrong because of his ego. Though oddly enough he finds it so attractive that you send just as much fire his way, he loves that you are fiesty and won't let him get away with any bullshit.

☆ If you're crying about something, he will be very gentle with you, I mean getting you water, holding you, reassuring you and even stroking your hair. He isn't very good at comforting people but he's trying his best.

☆ He knows he's hard to love sometimes but he's so thankful you've stuck by him.

☆ Going to bookshops with him.

☆ Sometimes when you make out, he forgets to take his glasses off and they get all fogged up.

☆ He takes you out on dates that are fairly casual, he likes spending time with you even if you're not talking.

☆ He takes you fishing with him, he doesnt mind if you don't partake but he still loves to enjoy the view of the ocean with you. Besides he'll never admit it but he gets lonely sometimes.

☆ Todoroki isn't ashamed to loudly make your relationship known if someone is flirting with you, he gets jealous quite easily but only because you're the best thing that has ever happened to him.

☆ Walks you home from school but you both usual take 20 minutes longer because you stop to look at things.

☆ Also if you're carrying something that looks heavy, he always takes it and carries it for you.
