just watched a tiktok that used audio of willow talking about being a lesbian ((when she was under r.j.s love spell)) with the text "this is your reminder that 90s tv often made a character gay or straight, when in fact, bisexuality has always existed" are we joking. its obviously true that older shows had little to 0 bi rep but you can acknowledge that without erasing a characters lesbianism. youre literally trying to erase her sexuality. comphet exists. willow has said many times she is a lesbian and identifies as such. she is essential lesbian representation like we had never had before and youre erasing it. i get wanting bi rep, im bi myself, i want it too, but you shouldnt take the rep someone else is getting and try and squash it down.

spike going to buffys house with a shotgun, with the intent to kill her, then, upon seeing her cry, unconsciously putting his gun down and asking "is there anything i can do" then sitting down and comforting her is crazy but you kno whats even crazier?? buffy letting him. and buffy opening up to him. and taking comfort in him. like are we fucking joking.

an even crazier part of this is that they have not had one good interaction before this. decent? yes. good? not at all. the nicest thing spike has done toward buffy at this point was punching tara to prove she wasnt a demon. and yet buffy still let him sit with her and comfort her. when right before this he was bragging about the slayers hes killed. like. this is insane.
