Is it just me or I think bear isn't completely the 'bad guy'.

He didn't even believe that the one willow would work, and originally got it for Nikki as a parting gift.

Throughout the entire movie he didn't even know that it was Entity Nikki not the real Nikki that was talking over Nikki's body, until he saw her watching him sleep and moving weirdly.

Bear did take advantage of her, I agree but later on he wanted the real Nikki back because the entity started to act out.

The scene where the real Nikki asked Bear to kill her while the entity was asleep, were bear responded with 'why can't you love me' -or smth along those lines-at first I was disappointed in Bear but then I realized that Bear didn't want to kill Nikki because the one who is obsessed is bear not Nikki. I feel like the movie is about Bear's hidden obsession and Nikki entity's obvious obsession.

What do you think?

Just to clarify I do not give any excuses for bears disturbing behaviors in the movie, in fact I don't like him and his best friend Ian because if not for Ian's advice in the beginning(were he told bear that his sincere confession was cringe-I personally thought that it was fine, and maybe Nikki would have liked him back) the events of the movie wouldnt have happened.

The semges scene was really disturbing genuinely. 🫠
