View my blog with discretion; I'm not inherently NSFW but a few posts might be and I never tag when they are. It's really rare though. Also, I'm a ship and let ship girl, don't like don't engage, blablabla. You know what to do. And it's *not* harassing me. You've been warned.
My first intro was really long and flourished so I'm trying another one...
Niwolah, she/her, adult
DM me for Discord and email
knows French, English, LSFB
writes as much as brain makes it possible
may be AuDHD (undiagnosed)
likes reading, listening to music, singing, dancing
very neutral; shares others' opinions but won't do more
BUT is 100% proship (ship and let ship but also let people enjoy things and purity culture/anti purity culture)
I said my blog was a melting pot. It really is. So don't be mean if you don't like my taste. It's mine and I'm not judging yours. It's not my fault I like cilantro and you don't.
Anyway.
I reblog everything, be it animals, nature, discourses (fandom related or not), cute/funny posts, things that resonate with me, and I try to tag accordingly. Key word: try.
My fandoms, AO3, and tags are listed after the cut because it's starting to get long.
I'm not immune to shipping culture so...
911 (Buddie)
BBC Sherlock (Johnlock)
Community (JeffDean)
Hercule Poirot (Hastirot/TheLittleGayCells)
How to train your dragon (Toothcup, Hicctooth)
Scrubs (JDox)
Supernatural (SamDean in every forms*)
Twoset Violin
TVXQ!
Teen Wolf (Sterek)
I try to tag the important characters/persons in addition of the fandom as well.
All my stories are here. (There's even the very firsts I wrote back then, when I was still at school, in French... You can ignore them, they're only there for posterity reason, I guess.)
Fandom tags are linked above but my most used other ones are:
#Niwolah tries to write for sneak peeks and behind the scene on my WIPs;
#Niwolah wrote that for the links of my finished stories;
#writer problems if you write and want to relate;
#writing resources is self-explanatory;
#scenery for nature pictures, often skies, trees and beaches;
#animals for... well, animals but you can search for specific tags like #cats, #dogs, #birds, etc. too;
#art for paintings, drawing, fanart as well, even though they're tagged accordingly;
#Niwolah's playlist shows you the songs I have in my head;
#life advice gives you, well, advices for anything, I don't specify more than that
* About Supernatural, I tag #sam and dean for canon, #weirdcest when they're weirdly obsessed with each other, #gencest when it's slightly less obsessive, which is almost never, #weecest when they're too young to be involved with each other and #wincest when they're not anymore. So block the tag you need to.
You can slide in my DMs or email me (go see above).
I think I said everything. Just- remember: don't like, don't engage.
Having a traumatic childhood means you cannot talk even objectively about your basic foundational experiences without it being "venting", even if you're not actually venting. You just straight up have a huge chunk of your life you can't talk about, full stop, without it being trauma dumping.
And it not being socially acceptable to talk about your own childhood is super alienating. Sometimes people want to know why, and any answer you can give them is going to be off putting.
It's to the point I get irritated when something I said is framed as venting when I'm literally just talking about my life experiences, doing my best to keep emotion out of it.
when I was in high school, I overheard two older students talking about a friend of theirs.
One of them said something like, "it doesn't bother me that [Friend] was in residential mental health treatment, I just wish they wouldn't talk about it ALL the time".
The other replied, "Well, that was all of last year for them. So when they say 'when I was in treatment,' it's like when you say 'last year'."
I try to remember that any time someone says something that sounds Shocking to me. sometimes one person's scary special crisis is another person's last year.
Proship has never meant anything except a combination of three ideas:
Ship and let ship (your ships don't harm me and vice-versa) and YKINMK (your kink is not my kink, and that's okay; my kink stories don't harm you and vice-versa)
Harassment over fiction is not acceptable
Censorship of fiction is not acceptable either
Any other definitions are made by antis, not proshippers, and are an attempt at revisionism to justify harassment based on false claims.
Yeah.
Antis like to claim that the "pro" means "problematic", but nope. "Pro" (for) is simply the opposite of "anti" (against), and all that "proship" really means is "Let everyone ship what they want, everyone mind their own business".
You can enjoy things in fiction that would be awful in the real world. Like playing a murderhobo in a game! In the real world, being or supporting a murderer-thief would be pretty damn awful, while in the game it's just good fun. Same with anything else you choose to do with the pixels on the screen, like kinks that don't affect anyone real, so they're okay in fiction, but would be pretty damn bad in real life.
No one else is responsible for your online experience. They are required not to harass you, but they are not and never will be obligated to not post about ships, kinks, or tropes you dislike just to avoid you seeing them. It's up to you to blacklist words or phrases, block tags, or even block users as needed to avoid seeing content that upsets you.
No one can force you to read anything against your consent. Any content you don't like seeing can be instantly avoided by closing out of the offending post/fic.
You are not owed an online experience free of discomfort.
Nothing that happens in your imagination can ever make you a bad person. Words you write or read about fictional characters will never make you a bad person.
The claim that media consumption influences real-life behavior is intellectually dishonest and serves only to excuse the behavior of real offenders.
Fiction is a safe way to explore horrifying or confusing concepts. Therapists agree that fiction, even (or especially) about taboo topics is a good coping mechanism, especially, but not exclusively, for trauma survivors. Fiction is to adults what play therapy is to children. This doesn't stop being true if the work in question is of a sexual nature.
Sex isn't an inherently worse or better motivation than anything else. A work written to create feelings of arousal isn't dirty, shameful, or in any way less pure than works written to entertain, provoke moral questions, or for other reasons. And worth noting is that multiple purposes can exist in the same story, especially fanfiction.
You aren't entitled to an explanation for why someone reads, writes, or otherwise enjoys certain works, kinks, tropes, ships, etc.
I mean i quite like my brain, i’m really very fond of it i just think it’s a design failure that i can’t pop it out of the ole skull basket every night and plug it in to recharge. travesty really
*gently takes your face in my hands* hey. remember that fandom is for fun. if you're not having fun it is ok to step back. if you're intentionally making it unfun for others it is ok to step back. none of this is real. go sit in the sun and smell a flower. i love you.
Btw when they ask if you have questions some actual good options are stuff like “what’s a typical day like in this role” or “is this job open because someone is leaving or is this a new position”
Another good question I stole from a reddit post that has really impressed all interviewers (two job offers!) is: "let's say you hire me and in a year you're thinking you made a really great choice. What will I have done to make you think that?"
It gets them talking about what they're looking for in the role, thinking about how you could fit it, and lets you end the interview getting to reiterate how good you would be for the role and how enthusiastic you are for it.
16. Top 3 pizza topping! Lemme think... Spinach, aubergines, scampis.
I mean, I actually rarely get these on my pizzas but there my favourite anyway. They're kinda rare to find in any restaurant (aubergines) or I'm deceived because there's too little (like, for real, I'm not paying my pizza 15€ with only 6 scrawny scampis on it and nothing else) or they're only for calzones (spinach) and I don't always want to eat that kind of pizzas.
Yeah... Maybe I'm too harsh, I don't know.
21. Do I talk to myself? Like out loud or in my head? Because it weirdly depends of if I'm alone or not.
For example, at work, surrounded by people, I'll talk to myself out loud, telling myself what I need to do next just so I don't forget. It keeps me focused and engaged.
If I'm alone, I barely open my mouth just to drink so... However, my brain is never silent although it's not real thoughts of what to do next, it's just— songs and echolalia.
36. Favourite potato chips flavour, oooh... Sweet chili, without hesitation. The spicyness (?) while still tasting the thing, my tongue only dying around half of the bag being eaten and not after only two potato chips... Heaven.
Thanks @dear-massacre for your participation in this! Now, I saw you wanted to procrastinate too so let me help you! So... Questions 8, 13 and 50.
ALSO..some more masturbation facts about me. theres a nonsexual scene in a book where a kid gets spanked for some reason. it was set in like the 40s and he was in a boarding school i forget. but i think i either misread the scene . or maybr the author actually did write this and theyre just fucking weird. and i thought the protag got hit (with like a ruler or something). on the penis instead of on the arse. and i remember my 11 year old brain being like. i wonder why i think that would feel good.
and so my first ever "experiment" with masturbation was. slapping my dick with a ruler. and when that felt good. my first ever way of masturbating was. stacking heavy books on my penis. and then hitting the top book. so that the force was distributed down the series of books. into my penis. and of COURSE it didnt work i was punching books into my dick but it laid a strong foundation for a great gooning career . hey everyone PLEASE pretend you didnt read this post
