Ok so I have to tell you that you are super motivating. I really really hope you don't take this the wrong way but every time I search something like "fitspo" I come up with super thin muscular model women with no context, and it seems so far out of possibility for me, but seeing your journey and seeing someone who once weight the same as me losing weight and being healthy is so inspiring. It makes me feel like I can do it, even if I know I'll never be like those fitness models.
That is so sweet! I totally get the “never looking like a fitness model” thing, especially with my stretch marks, but losing weight and becoming fit is something that every person is entirely capable of! You got this!

These photos are exactly 6 weeks apart! Left: 152 Right: 134 - 18 lbs in a month & a half. Goal: 125-130 ( I hate going by the number but wherever feels best) I have my lifestyle change to thank for how amazing I look and feel. I wake up every morning with so much energy and happiness.
I gained 20 pounds in 2015 so I started working with a personal trainer again. I like having a trainer because I need the routine to keep me in check. I do full body workouts with her and in classes about 5 days a week and try to do as much cardio as my lazyness will allow. But it’s all about my diet. I eat very clean, mostly raw, vegan. -Almost nothing processed! NO SUGAR!! -I try to drink 90oz of water a day -lots of protien and greens! -try to eat every three hours so I’m never starving (when I’m really hungry I’ll mindlessly eat whatever) -no beer Normal day for me is oatmeal with fruit and almond milk; protien shake; a few almonds & raisins; a whole avocado in a mix veg salad; tofu dish with little or no sodium. I don’t count calories. We all know the right choices and if you want to have a piece of cake with a friend then have it ! Don’t restrict yourself just be mindful! I stopped eating animal products years ago but when I have friends who are trying to lose weight by cutting meat & dairy as well as sugar, their results are incredible. Saving lives including your own through your food choices is the easiest and most benefitial act you can do! :)

This month (February) marks the one year point on my weight loss journey. With a lot of hard work and sacrifice I was able to lose just shy of 60lbs. I never thought of myself as fat but one day realized I was no longer in the shape I was in my 20’s. Life has a way of getting busy and priorities become disordered. With my 40th birthday fast approaching I knew it was time to get in shape. I now feel amazing, sleep great, and can chase after the kids all day. As in most/all things that I do, I’m not quite happy with where I’m at yet. I know that there’s lots more hard work ahead, with many meals and social gatherings that I’ll abstain from, but I’ve proven to myself that those sacrifices pay off in the end.
3.65 miles in 24 minutes. A slow and short rollerblade to get me back in the swing of cardio. After almost five months of very limited activity (and 3 on crutches), it really kicked my butt! I miss running entirely too much, but my orthopedic is still saying I'm about four months out from running without risking my hip breaking again. Hope the weather let you guys get outside and get active!
At the age of 19 Padme Amidala was the queen of a planet and had already saved her people from total crisis
At the age of 19 Anakin Skywalker was married and a general in a galaxy wide war and was considered to be one of the most powerful Jedi in historyÂ
At the age of 19 Leia Organa was a senator in the imperial senate as well as a leader and spy for the Rebellion
At the age of 19 Luke was making vroom vroom noises with his toy planesÂ
I love him so much
…he blows up the Death Star, like, later that day.
So much easier said than done
I’ve been a fan of Deadpool all my life, so I was gonna murder someone if it wasn’t me who played him. He was a last-minute addition to Wolverine, so I had to gain muscle quickly. I was eating, like, live children as they passed in order to bulk up.
Hey Leesha! You've probably gotten this question thousands of times but when you started your weight loss journey last year, what were you eating? I find I have to stick to a really regimented meal plan or I get distracted from my goals but egg white omelettes and chicken/fish with broccoli gets old FAST. Thanks!!
I was eating so much junk so frequently before I started losing that simply not getting fast food for lunch helped me start losing! Once I started understanding nutrition, I focused on protein and carbs. Lots of baked chicken, cooked with a spicy seasoning or some Frank's hot sauce, rice, eggs. I started intermittent fasting pretty quickly because I don't have the appetite at breakfast. I do 16/8, so I eat between 12-8 and that's all. Also helped me from nighttime snacking. Pinterest has some amazing recipes to switch it up and so does Reddit's group r/1200isplenty
happy valentines day to myself i love uÂ
(Part 2/2) I'm eating from 1500-1900 cals on average depending on my workouts during the week but on these hunger days I can easily eat 3000 cals. Do you think it's legit hunger as your body is going through changes or do you think it's the old mentality creeping in. I will say I let myself eat, then get right back on track the next day. I'm not concerned about "gaining weight" from one day of eating. Just curious if you think it's your body saying feed me more today.
I had that issue when I started doing long runs and BBG at the same time. I could seriously eat so much on those days and nothing was ever satisfying. I think it has to do with the amount of energy expended, some might be legit hunger, but I would remind myself that eating 1500+ over my maintenance was not helping my progress. I would seriously get hangry! On those days, I would try to fill up on nutrient rich food, a lot of protein and brown rice and that seemed to help.
