Feminism is not a bunch of angry butch women who don’t shave, who don’t want to have kids and want to abort babies.

Feminism is about the equality of sexes. It’s not about women not shaving it’s about women having the choice not to shave and to not be judged about it. Feminism is about women being able to choose how they want to live their life whether that is having children or not the same way men can. Feminism is about women having the choice of what happens to their bodies and when. Feminism is about women wanting to be paid the same amount as men for doing the same job. Feminism is about women being compared to unrealistic beauty standards and then being put down for not reaching them. Feminism is about women having the choice of they want to wear makeup and not wanting to.

But because feminism is about the equality of the sexes it’s also about men. Feminism is about men not having to be ashamed about wanting to stay at home with kids. Feminism is about people recognising that men can be raped to. Feminism is about men being accepted into traditionally “female” careers.

Feminism is about equality for everyone including women, men, trans, gays, lesbians, bis, queers, no matter what race or age they are.
