hey, isnโt that CHLOE โCHOโ CHANG? i read a daily prophet article on them, once ; the TWENTY-SEVEN year old quarter veela WITCH is a RAVENCLAW alumnus who has gone on to be a MINISTRY ARCHIVIST. iโve heard they can be quite LOYAL & PASSIONATE, but i donโt knowโฆ they came off very PESSIMISTIC & UNCOMMUNICATIVE in that interview. it really is hard to know what to believe these days though, isnโt it?

SUMMARY
secondborn daughter and third child to chang yongjian and zhu xiang. her father is an author, he makes the family fortunes with his books about the different magical creatures found in each continent. her mother is a homemaker, forever doting on all three of her children. her mother and father are deeply in love, and itโs all chloe ever wants in life.
the spoiled youngest child, sheโs doted on by her siblings. she wants to play quidditch? her brother drops everything to teach her. she wants to see the fairies that lounge in the garden? her sister knows the perfect spot to find them. sheโs heartbroken when they go to hogwarts without her.
sheโs kฤyรญng to her parents, chloe to her siblings, cho to the rest of the world. itโs her first year in hogwarts and sheโs sorted into ravenclaw, she feels kind of upset as neither of her siblings are in the same house as her. still, sheโs cho, her mother always says she could make a friend in an empty room. and make friends she does. she finds it easy to collect friends and acquaintances, sheโs smart, very pretty and kind ( and it also helps that her brother has taught her a couple of tricks on the train on the way to school ). nobody means as much as marietta, her very best friend.
her first few years are majorly uneventful; she performs well in all of her classes, joins the quidditch team as the seeker and even develops a crush on a boy called cedric diggory when they have to share a telescope in astronomy in third year. she rolls her eyes and flicks her hair haughtily when her group of ravenclaw girls ask, but late at night, with her and marietta lounging on her bed, curtains drawn and silencing charm up she admits it. heโs the one, iโll have him if itโs the last thing i do.
fourth year is when she meets harry potter. she can tell straight away he likes her, he has that look on his face that all the boys get when she smiles at them. heโs cute, but young, and she still has her sights on cedric.
cedric and cho get together when they meet up at the quidditch world cup. her fifth year is going to be the best of her life. they go to the yule ball together and she is the thing he will miss most. what could possibly go wrong?ย
harry potter appears with her cedricโs body, heโs lifeless and staring and she breaks down right there on the quidditch stands. sheโs given a draught of peace and something to sedate her and she spends four days crying in her bed with the curtains drawn. cedricโs family give her some of their photos and their letters back. she canโt bring herself to look.
itโs her fifth year and choโs family tell her to be careful this year, something is happening, everything is changing. almost all of her friends abandon her, sheโs no longer the fun-loving, happy cho that they knew last year. marietta is the only friend that stands beside her, and she couldnโt be more grateful.ย still, she joins dumbledore's army with absolutely no second thoughts. itโs what cedric would do. she drags marietta along with her, she knows marietta doesnโt want to but she canโt face it alone. sheโs just not brave enough.
sneak appears on mariettaโs face, and no matter how upset she is with her, she cannot bring herself to kick her while she is down. itโs her turn to be a good friend. she spends the night while marietta is in the hospital wing pouring through books, searching for a way to reverse it. her budding romance with harry is destroyed when he defends hermione granger, and sheโs so full of rage and upset she could scream.ย
she spends her seventh and final year waiting for it to be over, sheโs dating michael corner for a while until she leaves him for someone else. and someone else after that, and someone else after that. she has come to hate hogwarts over the last few years. it has brought her nothing but sadness. so when she leaves she doesnโt look back, though she keeps the da coin in her pocket, just in case.ย
sheโs working at the ministry in the archives. itโs interesting, keeps her mind busy, and stops her thinking about the nightmare that is going on around her. sheโs the only one left one night when she feels the coin burn. and sheโs apparating into the hog's head before she can think twice.
the battle goes to shit and her ex is dead. 2 dead romantic interests? sheโs somewhat of a black widow. her life goes on. until bellatrix lestrange comes back. and then sheโs pulled into the da again because itโs the right thing to do. because cedric would do it. harry would too.
she feels awful for dragging marietta back in again, but she doesnโt know who else she could turn to. it works out for the best. then she hears a prophecy. and sheโs terrified and anxious and feels like sheโs constantly on edge. but sheโll keep going. because itโs the right thing to do.
