Welp, I hate to start New Years Eve like this but it needs to be said: I've been promoting Legion to OC's and have gotten no bites. Not even nibbles. The other mods and I have spoken, albeit briefly, and have come to a hard decision.

Legion will not continue into the new year. 

I want to stress that this was not an easy decision to make. The Legion has been a ‘big one’ in the Hetalia RP community since 2012. It is not uncommon for most rings to shutter after their first year! We should all feel proud of the past six (nearly seven!) years of character development, events, and general silliness. You’ve all been great.

It has been an absolute pleasure, my lovelies, and we wish you the best in 2018. I hope to see you around! ~Mod Dredd/Hel.

Friends, it’s that time of year again! Christmas shall be happening in the Legion! In the true spirit of Christmas, the Legion shall celebrate with A Secret Santa!

Timeline is as follows:

Until Dec. 19th: Sign up for Secret Santa

Dec. 20th: Receive your Secret Santa names and post your muse’s wishlist on their blog

Dec. 22nd: Send the gifts and Legion holiday party!

Dec. 25th: Destroy the world

The Beginning

In the Capital City of the 51st State things were changing. Whether the general population knew the full extent of the changes still remained to be seen but they knew things were changing. The papers had written about the state of the rest of the world and how those that were different by virtue of mutated genes or strange accident were being sought out and registered. The broadcast news had also been the first to declare how the 51st State would be a Sanctuary to those who sought safety and peace to live their own lives. These things passed with a murmur and a few shouts of disapproval...but in the end it came to pass.  Soon, there were all kinds of strange, furtive folk occupying their public spaces...and what was worst, they couldn’t tell the real monsters from their neighbors. Was this shop clerk really just a teenager or did she have the ability to set the whole store ablaze? Did the new mail man just have a good rapport with dogs or could he shape shift into one at will?

Soon the guessing became second nature...and their ambivalence grew with each day there was no disaster.  Still, for all the tolerance that was being bred in the Captial City, there were still things the public was not ready for. Such as the giant plot of land on the cities edge. It was a few acres large, surrounded by forest, with a wall that faced the road. In the center of this wall was a gate, monitored and gilded. All who passed through it, be it construction workers, movers, or landscapers, were subject to expertly crafted Non-Disclosure Agreements so no information on what was happening on the well hidden property escaped.  People had their own worries. People did not pry.  For those who were building the Legion, that was a good thing.

Hey guys! Quick announcement for anyone who’s intending on sending apps or have already sent them to us: we’re going to be holding onto all of the new blogs until after the reset to steer clear of any confusion that might come up if we were to send out follows and then reset.
