Day 6 – Perth Bound! We had a rest stop in Geraldton on our last day and enjoyed some ball games at Pages Beach before the long drive back to Perth.
We had a wonderful time at Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort before heading south again for the start of the journey back to Perth. Our fifth stop at was at Galena Bridge, 50km east of Kalbarri.
We had a great day at Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort. Although the dolphins were tricky to get a picture with, there were plenty of lazy pelicans resting on the beach!

Our only free camp of the trip and a great fishing spot by the river. We were lucky enough to catch some fish for dinner!
Day 5 – Monkey Mia We had a wonderful time at Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort before heading south again for the start of the journey back to Perth. Our fifth stop at was at Galena Bridge, 50km east of Kalbarri.
Not alot of driving on the fourth day. We were able to visit the wonderful Shell Beach before arriving at Denham
We had a great day sunbathing and swimming at Shell Beach – one of only two beaches in the world made entirely from shells!

Day 4 – Hamelin Pool to Denham Not alot of driving on the fourth day. We were able to visit the wonderful Shell Beach before arriving at Denham
Our third overnight stop was in Hamelin Pool in Shark Bay and we spent the following day visiting some nearby attractions.
The Hamelin Pool Stromatolites were an interesting highlight – the world’s oldest and largest living fossils!

Day 4 – Kalbarri to Hamelin Pool Our third overnight stop was in Hamelin Pool in Shark Bay and we spent the following day visiting some nearby attractions.
Our second stop was Kalbarri, and we had a fantastic time exploring the Murchison River and gorges of the National Park. Sadly, our motorhome wasn’t equipped for the unsealed roads on some parts so we missed out on a couple of highlights. An excuse to re-visit!

Day 2 – Jurien Bay to Kalbarri Our second stop was Kalbarri, and we had a fantastic time exploring the Murchison River and gorges of the National Park.

By mid May we reached our destination, Perth! Very pleased to have accomplished such a journey – from one end of the country to the other! Here are some highlights of our time in Perth so far.

Esperance At the end of April 2014, we reached Esperance,after our long journey across the Eyre Highway, and took the opportunity to relax for the day at Cape le Grand National Park
On the third day of our journey across the Nullarbor Plain, we crossed the border into Western Australia, stopping in Eucla and conquering the ’90 Mile Straight’ (Australia’s longest straight road) before continuing to Norseman.
