-if were talking about how things were at camp before the gang fell appart
-i think Abigail could get a bit bossy with sadie (weve all seen how she is with John) but its only because she cares
-it can go from simply scolding her because shes not taking care of herself to full on crying and begging her to not get into trouble when she goes out of camp with Arthur
-just imagine Abigail washing and brushing out sadie's hair after she got into a fight telling her how beautiful she is
-in the end tho Abigail really admires sadie, the fact that shes so free spirited and takes things into her own accord,even if reckless at times(almost always), is what drew her to sadie in the 1st place
-Abigail isn't trying to extinguish sadie's impulsiveness, shes simply worried
-even then she'll always be there to clean sadie's wounds and bruises
-she says shes only trying to be helpfull but Abigail cherishes the closeness between them when she helps sadie since the cuts on he back or when she has to put an arm around her to help her walk to her tent
-at the time being openly queer wasn't really possible yet but both Abigail ans sadie new there was a closeness, a REALLY strong one between them
-sadie did realize she was in love and as soon as she did she thought of leaving camp and taking Abigail with her, especially since dutch was staring to go nuts
-but Abigail had Jack and had too luch of a conscience to leave the gang like that
After the gang fell appart
-abigail and john had started a new life, a tranquille one
-then john met sadie again and this time managed to at least get her to pass by the ranch, for Abigail's sake ofcourse
-after dinner, it was getting dark, sadie and Abigail decided to go for a walk in the fields that circled the ranch to catch up and talk a bit
-" you know my offer still stands"
-"to leave, have something together. You know, after the gang split i never thought ide want to be with anyone;Duch, Arthur, the whole gang left a stain on me but you,you are special Abigail i dont think ill ever get you out of my head,out of my heart "
-"if only things would've been different i think i could have spent my days taking care of you sadie,but i cant leave now i have my boy i have john ,hes really trying to rebuild something stable, maybe if you stayed with us youde like it ,help around , have dinner , fit in-"
-" Abigail,please, I never thought youde want to be with someone like me , want for me to stay but i dont want that , i want you , i want you to be my exception , i want us to be an exeption"
So so so sorry this is short and probably not great im just starting to get into writting :<
But I genuenly enjoyed writting sadie and Abigail so much so that i went a bit into angst (oopsie)
