Hi there! My name is Leine Mariya Hill and if you’re reading this, I am new on Tumblr! Actually, I used to use Tumblr a lot back in the 2010’s, but I have since deleted my old account because I wasn’t using it anymore and it didn’t reflect who I was as a person anymore. So, here we are again! I’d love to make some new friends, so feel free to reach out (just please be kind and respectful).

I’ve been a fangirl most of my life, so I’m mostly going to ramble and reblog about my numerous fandoms. I’m also a fanfic writer! I write under thispastelpinkheart on AO3! I also have a side blog mainly for fic stuff like headcanons, ideas, and shorter fics. It’ll basically serve as my fic notebook of sorts.

what I absolutely love about The Hobbit (and later in Fellowship of the Ring) is that Bilbo’s adventure was never a one-and-done thing. He didn’t just go out, experience something grand, and come home and never shut up about it — he joined a family

in Fellowship, we learn that the dwarves visit Bilbo all the time and he stays in contact with Laketown and Bifur. They come to his party and help set up and help him pack to leave. He explicitly says he’s excited to be adventuring again “with dwarves,” visits Erebor again, travels with Gloin, and Gimli’s excited to show Frodo ancient dwarvish places

It’s giving Bilbo went to Pride in San Francisco one time and found his community for life

Let's talk about how everyone else in the fellowship had died or sailed and it was just the two left- the elf and the dwarf, and no one knows who brought it up first, the possibility of the impossible, but they knew together that they had to try, because there had been too much death and too much parting and they just couldn't handle letting go of each other, not without one last adventure. They refused to be separated until it was no longer in their hands; until the gods themselves would rip the pair apart through the inevitable curse of mortality, but not a second sooner. Idk man...

I know I've said it before but every rewatch I do cements this thought further - elijah wood's performance in LOTR is absolutely insane, they really had a character whose name means "wise by experience", hired an 18-year-old to do it, and he delivered so much that not only is it a beautiful and moving role on its own, it's a performance equal to those of the absolute powerhouses he played side by side with like ian holm and ian mckellen. to name just a few

i just keep thinking about louis and all of his writing about grief in his music. how he lost the mother who was his best friend and then just over a year later one of his little sisters, and now he's losing someone else who meant so so much to him - who was at one point or several points of his life his best friend. he's lost so much and now he's losing liam too. it just feels so surreal. none of this feels like it's real.

liam. oh liam. god. he was the one i worried so much about ever since the band. like, it used to be zayn but when zayn left and grew i thought "ok, he's going to be ok" because you could see after a while that the band was not good for zayn. you could see it. but liam, god. he carried so much weight, all the time. from the band all the way to the present, he was the guy who was supposed to be put together. he was "daddy direction" he was. yeah. he was that guy. and i know it weighed on him. i KNOW it did. the drinking and the fucking spiraling he went through after the band, it was all connected. and i'm not. defending his choices, i'm not. but i'm grieving him and i'm aching for him, and. i just wanted him to be okay. i really really thought that he would be okay. and he's not. and i'm. fucking heartbroken about it.
