Since I've memorized almost every Soul scenes now and getting a good grasp of his character, someone asked about if Soul is a big dorkwad and if there are receipts...so my answers are:
Soul being a dorkwad is primarily during his early days, in NOT you can even somewhat observe him seemingly trying to find a new set of outfit in the BG, beginning from DWMA's Gakuran where he was explicitly said to not like wearing, then to his pianoman shirt, then to his weird ass paisley shirt and headband, then settling to the familiar varsity jacket and headband (observe how his headband lacked the 'Soul' tag and the EAT pin)
Throughout main timeline, a whole lot of his dork moments are also in the beginning where he seemed to want to copy Black Star's way of life only to fail everytime. His dork moments admittedly got significantly reduced after Kishin revival following the Cerebus Syndrome, this era in particular focused more on Soul's inner melancholy and the ways he tried to combat it (trying to be competent and useful as Maka's weapon as the madness preys on his insecurities of being inadequate and weak-willed) we got that one moment where Soul was so hyperfocused on Maka that he forego changing his gym clothes.
Oh there's also that moment where Angela socked him in the nut too lmao.
Spartoi era is more of a 'Maka being a dork' era, but I think Soul humoring her want to be a fluffy-winged angel and even suggesting they should take the fight with Gopher to the ground instead of chiding her impractical choice of wing design to be adorkable.
Soul getting hit in the nose because he called Maka a nerd.
Soul being sorta the one who had been making their partnership shaky since Grigori, yet during Salvage it was him who is actively trying to 'Salvage' their relationship by being the one initiating the handholding, insisting his relationship with Maka is not just him settling on a musically-blind partner, and then going outta his way to carry Maka on his back despite Maka fearing it before. Not really a dork moment but it showcased how he is actively punished for being a prickly cool guy and had to take accountability each time.
Soul drawing on his headband and then teasing Maka about hers only to comply to her demands when she tells him to draw for her.
And last but not least, him using flowery language to affirm his bond to Maka in the end (It's on par with BS' declaration that if he's the night sky then Tsubaki is the stars) bonus with Maka also having a dork moment right after.
I think him giving the piano a pet name and talking to it should fall under dorky as well! He might look a little cool doing it, but you cannot tell me he’d do that in public.
