oooo hmm yesss I got a few headcanons for him!!

Ein was the kid who constantly had his shoes just like absolutely ruined in some way before the end of the year. Like, those shoes would be extremely scratched up and dirty, the laces would be super ripped or just lowkey gone, aaand maybe the sole just completely came off💔

I imagine he actually kinda likes to draw!! like he wouldn’t be incredibly at it but he doodles on the corner of pages or in his notebook when he’s bored.

He’s got a horrible habit of zoning out during tests. prolly chews on his pencil too

Actually very good and smart at history but probably doesn’t try in class he can’t be bothered

He feels like one of those kids who just refuses to buy a water bottle and has the same plastic one he bought like 6 months ago

Ein definitely takes the bus to school and back, can’t see zack caring enough to pick him up + I kinda feel like he’d live far

on the bus home he just puts on headphones and zones out. maybe sometimes he’ll people-watch or sketch out his thoughts idk

eats lunch like it’s his last meal or something😭😭inhales his food

this isn’t as much of a hc and more of an interpretation of mine, tho maybe it still falls under a hc category: I feel like he saw his old younger self in the pups and that pissed him off A LOT

he’s really bad at tying his tie bc zack never taught him so it looks kinda wonky most of the time

his backpack is a MESS. does not bother to get folders or anything so whenever he hands in assignments all his papers are like. super crumpled

I can't believe they took away everything interesting about Vylad in MyStreet. Stripped him of his depression, his bluntness and logicality, and his connections to the Shadow Knights.

I wish we saw him absolutely fucking with the SK. Like instead of Aaron breaking Gene's phone, it should've been Vylad. After all, he was always the one to ruin their plans in MCD.

Also, his personality is... lacking in MyStreet. Though that could be due to lack of screentime. Remember, the not alone buddies wasn't a duo; they were a trio!!

My woke take, as someone who has worked in both a public library and a school library, is that we desperately need both more books that are at a higher reading level but a less mature subject matter, and more books that are at a lower reading level but a more mature subject matter, because 8 year olds who are advanced readers are still 8 year olds and don't want to read about graphic violence and torture, and teens and adults who have learning difficulties or who are just later readers for whatever reason are still teens and adults and don't want to read about Billy the Bunny going to school or whatever the hell.
