i love how gradually over the course of the game the WoL gets more dialogue choices that are sarcastic or bitter. like they're always a goody-two-shoes in their actions, there's no situation where the WoL doesn't do the most heroic thing, but after a few years of playing the hero they have a gods-given right to bitch about it when they want.

#the post-EW dialogue options let me be really silly and stupid in such serious scenes it was really funny to me #we just raided a foreign national historic site that also holds dangerous stuff #and we’re being dressed down by the nations leader and I get to tease Y’shtola about her goofy incantation #and then appropriately i grt scolded for it

#yeah Wrai would know what this means #left became port because that was the side facing port when in harbour but small village wouldn’t necessary call their #docks a port #but trading with the coastal towns which actually do have a port #Dina and viyero wouldn’t know larboard because Dina doesn’t know boats and Viyero only knows #modern trade vessels #X’abah learned the word larboard on his first trip to limsa
