How do you deal with someone who you want so bad to like you platonically but they just kinda dont show you any form of platonic affection besides from a few laughs?
Ummm, I don't know why you would ask me but I'll try my best.
So, if a person doesn't like you, I don't want to say this because it hurts me to type this, but it might be something your doing, or maybe you're just not the type of person they'd hang out with.
But whatever the case, you shouldn't change yourself for them in any way but if you really think there is some potential for a friendship maybe try to take an interest in what they like or try to find a common interest that you both share.
I don't think you should come off too strong either, so don't push it if they look like they're uncomfortable at all, if you're closer than what I think you guys are, maybe ask them to hang out with a couple of mutual friends. Most people want to be friends with you if you get along with their friends.
I also find it good to remember little details about them, even if they are unimportant to you, people notice when you remember things about them.
And get something for their birthday. Even if it's a card.
