I keep having this same idea for an irondad fic but I cannot write for shit :D

it's a BandAU where the Avengers are an extremely famous band that broke up into two sides (Civil War lol). For like contracting or some reason they have to outperform the other, so Tony starts looking into recruitment. This is where Peter comes in. Spiderman is an indie (guitarist, keyboard, whatever we make him) and has gotten a small crowd due to his impressive skills.

Tony just watches his concerts from afar, unnoticed. Eventually he sneaks backstage and spooks Peter at a gig. He wants Peter on his team, and offers him gear upgrades and the likes.

NOW it gets different. At the same time, Tony does stem internships and is mentoring Peter. Spiderman is a secret identity, no one knows who he is (kind of like marshmallow lol), and Tony has no idea who Spiderman is either. Every day after the internship, Peter has to mysteriously run off for some horrible excuse, when he is really running to band practice that TONY RUNS. Tony is completely oblivious because Peter leaves an hour or so early to catch the subway.

Eventually, Tony finds out and Peter breaks down or something. Then BOOM bonding and now Tony can't stop thinking about how proud of his this kid.

I've had this idea for around 4 months please if someone writes it (miraculously) TAG MEE :DD

2026 Team Update

Hey all!

We've got some changes coming up for 2026.

Our Fab Artist @superherotiger retired last year, after making some amazing prizes for our winners. And I've decided 2025 is my last year too.

I am so, so proud of what the Awards became. I started in Spring 2021 with an idea and the art of @monireh89 to add to the promo posts. She signed up to make the prizes and I got going. I hoped desperately that some of you would get involved, that there would be some nominations to vote on. And you absolutely blew me away! | was quite literally overwhelmed - 12 hour days logging the nominations and calculating votes! - but I was having the time of my life. @superherotiger came in to rescue in the last stretch, saving my sanity in the process.

The Team grew as @asyouleft @iron-mum and @stillctrsara came on board and we've had a wild 4 more cycles. They work insanely hard and streamlined the process massively - so my sanity was no longer as risk, at least no more than it usually is. They dealt with my questions and grumbles and finetuned details - they made it so much easier for me and so much more fun. And I really have loved being a part of the team with them.

But I've got some health issues now and my ability to spend time on a screen is massively reduced, as is my energy levels and spoons capacity. If I did push through and go in for another year, which I did plan on doing, I'd be slowing us down, complicating the process and creating a lot more work for others. And I wouldn't find the same joy I always have because of it.

But the awesome Awards Alumni @asyouleft and @stillctrsara are signed to run the 2026 Cycle together and they're pros. I promise you a great cycle and whole lotta fun.

There will likely be some changes coming up with dates and categories etc, so keep an eye on the posts here.

Obviously everyone clings on to this like "When can we meet him?" "What's his name, Stevie Jr.?" He was actually going to go pick up Dustin (hell maybe he didnt even realize he said it at first and so they make fun of him for it jokingly).

Then at some point, maybe after Hellfire or smth, all the kids are with Steve and everyone else. Steve is like "Alright, I'm outta here," and someone makes a joke like "Awww you gonna go pick up your little brother?"

Obviously, this is the first time Dustin's heard about this, and he suddenly feels overhwelmingly jealous, but also guilty because he wants to be that little brother. He looks up to Steve so much and pretty much already sees him as a brother, so having the knowledge that someone already filled that role is heartbreaking.

It's even worse (or better) when you think about the fact that Dustin's not just crushed that someone already filled that role, but that Steve was always capable of being that big brother, he just didn't want to be that for Dustin (or so he thinks).

Anyways sheboda bing boda boom Dustin breaks down eventually and Steve is like "this is embarrassing and I'm sorry I know you don't see me like that but it was just a slip of the tongue" because he thinks Dustin could never love him like a brother, and then heart-to heart happens and they make up ❤️

NO SERIOUSLY I CANT WRITE BUT SOMEONE PLEASE WRITE THIS PLEASE. PLEASE. IM BEGGING YOU! FUCK I MIGHT EVEN PAY YOU!!
