THINGS YOU NEVER NOTICED IN THE SIMS 4 ! (Part 1)
So, I’ve decided to made this article based on this awesome thread. I do not own anything. I’ve just select the best and unusual infos and put it in there. I also add some infos based on my gameplay. Hope you like this post. Feel free to share and test those suggestions in your game !
Unemployed sims labeled themselves “stay-at-home mom/dad” if they have a kid and you ask about their career ;
If you want your sim to have a baby girl, you buy a pink crib to give birth in. If you want a baby boy, you buy a blue crib and if you want it to be left up to chance you get a yellow crib ;
Eat carrots and listen to alternative music for a boy, strawberries and pop music for a girl ;
If your teen gets into fight make their parents watch by clicking near the fight, when their done fighting, the parents will face-palm and will have a disappointed look on their face ;
Romance, friendship, ennemies :
Ghost Sims can get jealous - through walls. So my main Sim’s husband passed away some time ago but he haunts the house. They Whoohoo-ed once or twice since he passed but nothing regular, they don’t maintain their relationship. She recently brought home a new man, and they Whoohoo-ed in her bed. Her husband’s ghost watched this through the wall and became sad. His relationship bar with her is now negative with two sad hearts ;
Didn’t know that some husbands will look at their fingernails while their wife is asking for reassurance ;
I also noticed that if an enemy of yours dies you have the ability to laugh at their grave ;
Since GT, some teens can woohoo ;
If your sims is family oriented, and if their teens woohoo, they occasionnaly clap their hands ;
When sims are embarrassed in the bath, they will continually dunk their head underwater ;
If a sim is playful when they’re reading, they will occasionally place the book on the table and pretend to make it talk ;
If a sim’s angry, they won’t hug ;
When a child sim is sad, they will put their arms around the stuffed animal and cry / If he’s angry, he’ll punch his stuffed animal ;
If your sims is sad and works on their boxing skill, the punching ball can hit their face ;
I didn’t know that you could run a social network account from the computer (level 6 charisma skill) ;
Your sims can discourage another sim who is working out ;
I found out that Grim Reaper can be your employee ;
If you have GTW, and your cop goes out on patrol, but there is no public bathroom near by, he/she can go into another Sim’s house like a rabbit hole in the TS3 (it won’t open for you) to use a bathroom ;
I can put a double bed up against a wall and my Sim can scoot over and sleep in the bed ;
You can upgrade the stereos to play a Sims Retro Station that plays music from previous Sim games ;
There’s a special computer that unlocks at level 10 of the Scientist career and you can use it to “Contact Aliens” ;
SimRay can put out a fire ;
Cowplants randomly dance if a radio is placed near them ;
Some plants in Granite Falls can make your sims really sick… ;
In certain places in Oasis Springs if you look real close you can see wind blowing the sand around on the ground ;
Sims can brush their teeth and drink orange juice ;
I just realized if your child sim has a dollhouse they can write a dollhouse story on the computer. They have to play with the dollhouse first for the interaction to show up on the computer ;
Did you know if your sim wears heels you can hear them tapping on the floor but if the sim wears flat shoes, there’s no sound? Nice detail ;
I’m not sure if people knew this already but I just found out that a sim in the pool can splash the sim who sits by the pool. And they can even splash back with their foot ;
