I gave my mother this Hydrangea while she was in hospice care. It was for Mother's Day and it would be the last gift I ever gave to her. We planted it at our family home afterwards. Since then, my dad moved twice and I lost track of it. I found out a few months ago it was still at our former address. It was keeping me up at night knowing it was there. The new home owner was really understanding of my story and allowed us to come and pick it up. We just got it home and have found a nice place for it out on our terrace. There are so many great memories captured by @erikvoneric and his fiancé/assistant @k__dubs on the Lemon Love Ride. Even though @dc_pedalpusher Ryan K and I knew we had a long day, we still had to race each other every now and then. We detoured off the highway and took coldwater road into Merrit and it was a welcome break from riding on a narrow, sketchy shoulder and gave us time to relax and goof around , without fear of getting run over by a semi🍋❤️🚴💨 #lemonloveride #gscycling #SprintingForTheFunOfIt #coldwaterroad #merrit

I felt like Jackie Kennedy during the Presidential address. Ryan made a wonderful speech at Langley Hospice Society today about the #lemonloveride. My whole family was there to partake. It was certainly a highlight of our lives. I still can't believe that we were able to honour my mom in this way. It takes a big idea, a little ambition and a lot of love. Thanks to my best friend and husband @no_1hustler for making this dream come alive. #love

34 degrees and climbing! This is by far the best ride in the Okanagan. We climbed up the front of Predator Ridge, then bombed down the back super fast. The rest of the ride is up and down, and very picturesque. Having a time on the @lemonloveride! One of the most exhilarating experiences of my life for sure. I'm not even on a bike! Been chilling with @k__dubs and @erikvoneric along the ride. The CB radios really enhance this experience and have added colourful narrative to the ride. Coquihalla was intense. We are now closing in on Merritt on Coldwater Rd.
