Since we’re all talking about shows that are so bad that they’re good I have a confession to make: I LOVE OUAT. I am the number one OUAT defender. I’ve rewatched it at least three times this year alone. I follow the official account and look up theory pages that haven’t been active for years. This is my comfort show in the most LITERAL sense.

I don’t CARE that the premise is cringy and that the timeline makes no sense and that the family tree is so convoluted that a woman dated a man and then married said man’s ex-step father and that wasn’t even close to the weirdest thing happening!!! I don’t!!! I don’t care that the writing was awful and some of the actors were mediocre and the CGI had a budget of two nickels!!! All I know is that that show (seasons 1-3 at least) was built on the backs of theatre kids who loved their craft!! Use your imagination, pretend that the bright purple dragon looks somewhat okay!!! This is an ABC drama and every major actor walked in giving 800% on nothing but hopes, dreams, and cable tv!!
