#you know what i’m actually really grateful for this gif set #because like the thing with mother’s day and father’s day is that not everyone has great biological parents #and sometimes the person who was a mother/father/parent to you wasn’t your biological parent but they’re still super important #zuko’s bio dad was trash but iroh was there for him every step of the way and became a father to him #and the fact that he’s not zuko’s biological dad doesn’t make him less of a father to him #and that’s important

Explaining permanent damage and long term damage - is hard. Sometimes you cannot appreciate the various problems and also insecurities unless you have a ‘hair tour’ or see us in 3D.

I’ve pinned back the longer hair to show the chunk on top that’s a) growing slower b) not recovering as well.
