Like, it has a multiple tags option so if you wanted to find a blonde on the beach you could tag blonde, beach and it would give you relevant results. ok but dont put transgender/poc/lgbtl+ characters in your roleplays if you’re going to be using them for some kind of charity work because you feel SORRY for them and feel like they NEED to be included because they are different and otherwise they wouldn’t be in there. don’t put them in your roleplay if you just want to use them as a way to get people to join and to be seen as a good roleplay. maybe put them in the roleplay because they are people too and shouldn’t be treated differently not because you want to be seen as some kind of charity worker.

is using real sorority names really illegal?

sororities copyright their names, letters, mottos, colors, symbols, etc., so yes. you could say that it’s like using a real school, tv show, book, or movie in rp, but the issue is a little bit more complicated. us sorority women are “always wearing our letters,” so we’re not allowed to do/post anything that would reflect badly on our organization. this would extend to me writing a fictional book about a fictional girl in my very real organization and publishing it for free. if i painted my organization in a bad light, they could a) sue me and b) revoke my membership. i saw a post going around the rpc a few months ago before i went greek about using real greek organizations in rp but i can’t find it now. it’s not fair to paint real things in bad light just for entertainment purposes. it literally takes two seconds to look up a list of fictional sororities and fraternities and use those instead of taking the time to look up real panhel organizations and copying down their info. it would actually be quicker.
