🌿 And so it must have come to this. We are at the last two pages of my comic. But they're still packed with adventures, so let me guide you through this lovely collection 💚 ☕️ Having breakfast in our Castol. Enjoying the morning sun with yummy food and tea while morning mist disappears. 🦋 Flying on a moth, which technically you can't do in game but who said you can't do it in comic 😂 Besides, moth is one of our favorite bugs so it would be amazing to do so! 🌛 Saying good night. Everytime we finished a gaming session, we would sit on the bee carpet and say our goodbyes. So cute 💛🐝 🏹 Wasp Queen boss fight was an epic fight when my bow really came in handy, together with gas arrows. Queen was a tough enemy and she fought great 🫡 🤖 And last but not least, the Assistant Manager boss fight. Lasers, robots, hiding, patching wounds, reviving, jumping, dodging... there was it all but we came out of it victorious! 🌿 What a pleasure it was to create this memory filled comic. One of the best projects to work on, come back to with my friend and keep forever ❤️💜 BUT, BUT! It's not really over, there is one more page to share... stay tuned 😏 🌿 PS. 💙 Recently two things happened...

🖍 First, I got a set of water-based Ohuhu markers to fulfill my artistic call for traditional art 😍 EXCITED! 🐧 Second, I totally fell in love with Piplup 💙 I was never a big Pokémon fan but universe said "here's Piplup, enjoy" 😂 and well I did, what a cutie, melts me everytime 🫠

🥳 So to try out markers and dive into Piplup art I present my first creation. Hope it brings you smile 😊💙 Beside! How matching, water-based markers for water Pokémon 😂 More Piplup are coming soon 😏

Also, those markers are really amazing, I enjoyed the whole process so much, they're smooth and nice to use ✨️

🌿 Grounded Adventures Comic Page 8 & 9 🌿 🌿 For the first time we have two page story! And for a good reason because this story, to my eyes, is the most EPIC 😎 🌿 We were going back home crossing porch. And well you know how it is with wood... it has cracks and wholes sometimes. I completely missed one of them and fell right through it into darkness... Falling and falling and falling... I could see my life flashing before my eyes and I was ready to face my fate of having to go back for my backpack somewhere to the bottom of this dark, bug infested pit 🥲 I hit the bottom, my life bar went to zero and my revive clock started ticking... 29... 25... 20... 15... I could see bugs crawling around like vultures... I was waiting for the end... BUT THEN! I saw something fell to the ground. It was a hero coming to my aid 🫡 My friend didn't leave me to die alone but instead he defeated all the bugs around and revived me in the very LAST second like a true Knight ❤️ 🌿 I was amazed beyond measure, so grateful and mind blown! What a friend to have ❤️💜

Grounded Adventures Comic Page 7!

Let's dive back into the adventures. Today we have another funny story 🤭 In Grounded you fight quite a lot and you have quite a few ways/weapons to choose from. My friend's preferred weapon type is close ranged while I usually go with a bow (sometimes spear too when I have to kick some ant asses up close 😂). That makes us the perfect combo of up close power and long distance protection.

However, this also means a potential for unwanted damage 😅 Cause picture this... my friend is doing his best to take most damage and bugs' attention on himself while I shoot them from afar. So he happens to be in between me and bugs. And he does a real combat dance! Jumping, avoiding, parrying, swinging axe, changing places and doing such an amazing job! Bow is slower so sometimes by the time I draw my bow, aim and release the arrow my friend unexpectedly happens to be in the way of said arrow 😂 I think you can imagine where this is going 😂 first time it happened I managed to shoot my friend right in the... butt 😂😂😂

But don't you think it was the last time it happened 😂 from this moment he got many unexpected arrows. Be it in the arm, leg, liver or even head 👀 he's gonna look like hedgehog one day 😂😂 of course being a healer I always aid him with a bandage and shroomy lollipop 🍭🤭 It's never an issue and we always laugh about it, for which I'm very grateful 😋😊 🏹🍑

Grounded Adventures Comic Page 6! Today we're looking at the biggest misunderstanding during our adventures, that had been finally resolved at the very end of our playthrough. Grounded drama you may say 😂 We just added zipline to our constructions portfolio. Finally we could go really fast from our Castol to the other side of the pond. Being very excited we just jumped on it to zip right back home. Now this is where things get weird. When I was in the middle of the line I fell down! I could swear it was my friend who got to the other side and cut the rope to prank me 😂😂😂 I mean, I do enjoy a good prank but I was half annoyed and half laughing like crazy cause on top of it I fell onto the lily pad and died 😂😂 (thx to my friend for reviving me ❤️) Long story short, we never got to set the record straight and I've been living with this confidence that it was his prank! Turns out we actually crashed because he pressed "turn around" button accidentally and came right at me 😂😂 Don't ask me how I didn't notice cause I have no idea, I must've looked away for one sec and BAM! For the purpose of the comic I changed the story a bit and made aphid the culprit of all the mess and I love its mischievous look 🤭😏

Grounded Adventures Comic Page 5!

Ok, first of all I need to admit that in reality this situation wasn't that dramatic 😂 My friend had a great and funny idea to prank me.

He made those bugs models then he was following me around our castle, while I was finishing the interior decor, and he would put them behind me so that when I turned around there was a scary bug waiting for me 😂😂 It didn't jumpscare me but for the purpose of comic I thought it would be funny to show it like that. 🤭🕷

Don't be fooled though! It wasn't just one time he did that 😂 Everytime he placed one behind me, he went oddly silent waiting for my reaction, I knew something was up 😂😂❤️

I really like how the aphid is looking at him from underneath the workbench ^^

Page 4 of the Grounded Adventures comic!

One beautiful day, my dear friend, decided to show me something very interesting. ☀️ Broodmother's lair! It turned out to be one of the funniest adventures.

Upon entering the lair I was mesmerized! It looked so amazing, huge hall made of white strings web! But then the realization came through my mind... EWWWWW those are spiders! 😬 The contrast between my amazed reaction for the beauty of nature and sudden ewwwww that followed, made my friend laugh uncontrollably 😂😂😂 Till this day, I have to get used to the looks of spiders when we come back to play and control myself or the ewww reaction and shiver appears again 😅

Disclaimer: I actually don't mind spiders, but ugh... the looks and size in the game 😬😂

Page 3 of the Grounded Adventues comic! 🖍

This one shows the process of building our game home. Huge home! We started with a little camp by the pond with a campfire, a leaf tent and wolfspider bothering us every night 😂, and we ended in a full, mushroom brick and defensive castle, which we called Castol 🤭

Don't be fooled though! Inside it's reeeeeally cozy. With comfy bedrooms, jacuzzi, furnished tarrace to chill, workshop and storage, our own pier (not for boats but to run away faster from those water fleas aliens 😬), gardening spot and even bugs statues gallery! We're both trully proud of this creation, real definition of 'teamwork makes the dream castle' 😂💜

It served us good, protected against bug revenge attacks and even it survived my own attack when I thought it would be so fun to shoot wasps from the roof 😂 Don't try at home or you will be faced with lots of rebuilding.

Second page of the Grounded comic coming your way! In this one I met the cutest bug in the game and it enchanted me with its "prrrrr" 🤭❤️ From that day we started calling ladybugs prrrr 😂, get really happy everytime we encountered it 🐞 and ride it from time to time* 🌿

Grounded 2 just got released and I think it's the perfect time to share a special project of mine, which has been in the work for a loooong time ❤️💜

A few years back me and my dear friend embarked on a journey. We started our Grounded adventure! 🌿

Through days of fun we made lots of amazing memories, laughed like crazy, built a whole Castol 🕍, on more than one occasion I was disgusted by the looks of bugs 😂, we were bothered by annoying ants and wolf spider roaming around our base 😂😂 and more, in short it was great!

I wanted to keep all those memories so I decided to turn them into comic! 🖍 Here's the first page of it!

Some time ago I made Leon fanart but I thought he was kinda lonely :( So I made Ada!! And now they're a pair :3

I wanted to try repeat what I did with Leon. Pencil-like lineart, flat colors, a bit of shading. I was constantly telling myself "Don't overdo it!!" and despite Ada being a bit more detailed than Leon I think they match pretty well. Now I'm tempted to add more characters :D
