"Ice cream with Leon!"
"There is a God."
Cajun Road Block [Remy]
He remained silent, watching the thoughts run across the man’s face, speculating what he could. There was something more underneath it all… something he couldn’t quite place. A hesitation yet potential within the same lines. The thief rose his brows slightly, expression of unimpressed bemusement, both at the comment and nickname. If ‘Leon’ here was hoping to get any sort of rise out of him with the reference, Remy was more than happy to leave him quite disappointed. No matter what, this was not the best site for any sort of assault, verbal or otherwise. Better to leave the quips for a more convenient setting.
The Cajun was halfway through a mental shrug at the off-handed dismissal when his attention was called once more. With how quickly the mood turned for the more serious, he was tempted to spite the other, just for the hell of it. Until he heard the question itself, he was moving to do just that. “…’Mammoth’, mon ami? Ain’t seen o’ heard a anyone fittin dat description.” It sounded like someone -something- he should know… but as water, the reasoning slipped between his fingers without a trace of their origin. “Be lookin into it as soon as I can. Can tell you ain’t speakin too far lies… don’ sound like someone I’m too happy havin ‘round.”
"Seriously? You're security and you haven't noticed this guy? Jeez, what do you spend your time doing? Eating doughnuts with your feet up on the desk?" Maybe he'd pushed it a bit too far, but he was far from caring. The big guy was a piece of work that needed an eye kept on him at all times. "Either way, the least of your concerns is me. He's worth checking out.. shit I didn't even get his name.. was too busy poking the giant about my sister," he shrugged, "guys a ticking time bomb."
The little voice of conscience in the back of Leon's head raised it's ugly head, and he found himself sighing, hands leaving his pockets to knit behind his head instead. He'd found his sister. He was going to be staying here. He didn't need enemies or to be having pissing contests with everyone he met so soon. And the guy was just annoyed about his little intrusion, which was understandable and all. Letting his arms fall and holding out a hand when he was absolutely certain he had some control, he offered a more sincere apology. "I'm sorry, about your stuff. I was just looking for my sister, and I found her so.. looks like I'm sticking around longer than I thought. Tend to like to do this by my own hand. So I'm sorry. I can replace the lock, that's not a problem. Truce?" That'll do.
