“ i cannot believe my parents just told me i had to cut my hair for graduation or they’re not coming — what kind of bullshit is that? it’d be a SIN to cut this flow. ” ben’s not one to overly obsess over his appearance, and certainly it would matter less when he graduated and committed to that path that didn’t have nhl on it, but the hair is iconic. especially now that he’s not even going to med school, he’s not too fond on leaving it behind on the floor of some barber shop.
“and my parents told me not to be an useless artist.” she raised her eyebrows in a funny way as she put her upper and lower lips together. family talks sometimes would make her laugh and other times they were just there to make her cry. her smile was gone in few seconds, leaving its place to a weary facial expression. “so you can be happy that the thing they interfere is your hair.”
