I'd do anything to hear you say my name again
the way you'd say it
type it
moan it
shit even scream it
talk to me baby
you know how to get me going

talk to me baby
you know how to get me going
I saw you
you're still in there
hidden and fighting
against this shell of an evil person
you allowed yourself to become
trapped in there
screaming and yelling
to no avail
against the cocoon
is the real you
I pray you get saved
For everything that does not rise into consciousness will return as fate.

I miss the feeling and taste
of having my mouth wrapped around you
as I slurped and swallowed you whole
until you fed me what I desired.
don't you miss it to or are you still lying
as if she could fulfill you the way I do.
Reading old books gets an extra layer of fun when you start to piece together how all these historical eras run together. The heroes of one era become the stodgy out-of-touch parents of the next. 1920s Bright Young Things are calling people "Victorians" in an "okay, Boomer" way. Victorian novels have Regency rakes hanging around like old hippies. Regency novels have old Georgians who still powder their hair. It's just fun to see the mixing of generations, the mix of old and new, because history's not neat little boxes, it's life all jumbled together.

Faith isn’t about understanding everything. It’s about trusting God with what you don’t understand.
