The Bennorian Chronicles

Bennoria is a high fantasy, medieval world. Created for World Ember 2020. In old days, the Deities of the world each had a Divine Avatar who wielded unique Divine Relics . Those days are gone. The Avatars and their Relics were lost in the "Great War". Now odd things are starting to happen all across the world.

This December I’m going to be trying for the @worldanvil #WorldEmber challenge. 10,000 words of worldbuilding in 31 days. Taking this opportunity to start my own D&D 5e setting from the ground up. Welcome encouragement and feedback!

When searching these areas for what you are looking for its important to know the keywords you are looking for and being flexible with your thinking. After you start your search with a few keywords. You might need to start dropping some to find what you are looking for. (See below) Also, “CUTE” is NOT a good keyword as it’s very subjective. What makes it cute? Color, style, feature? Search for that instead.

First what are you looking for: path (anything to be displayed on the ground), sign, stall, floor, pattern, clothing

Second what is the primary feature you are looking for: theme (floral, goth, natural, beach, cafe, modern, horror, rustic); material (wood, stone, brick, terracotta, sand); color (white,red, pink, black, light, dark, rainbow)

Third if there is another feature or theme more specific that you are looking for: gay pride, trans, villager name, heart, moon, book, bottle, coffee, ice cream, etc.

Similar keywords:

- raised platform, deck, boardwalk, walkway, pier

- road, street, path, walkway

- sign, panel, stall (many people list their signs as stalls)

- cafe, restaurant, food, dessert, tea, coffee

Example searches:

- wood platform dark brown > no hits? > Wood deck

- cute path > not specific enough> pink stone path

- cafe sign > also > cafe menu > restaurant menu > restaurant sign
