I'm getting married this year, here are my thoughts:

Do NOT interrupt my ceremony to propose.

Do NOT interrupt wedding speeches about the couple to propose.

those are taking away from couple-centric events. Ditto for dances, or cake-cutting if the couple is doing that. It's just disrespectful.

3. Ask permission from the bride and groom.

If one of my best friends/siblings/bridesmaids was in a long-term relationship, and we had a lot of shared friends at the wedding, and I felt like they would enjoy the moment, and we set aside a time after the normal speeches, then I'd be honored to plan that. If some random family friend did it without asking? weird. Also I don't think it would feel special to that person. I think it would be really special do plan something at the rehearsal dinner, usually there are some speeches that evening too, and after those, I think it could be really sweet, and then we could celebrate together the next morning while getting ready and drinking champagne and while dancing at the reception.

Finally, I also understand that some women have been dreaming about this day and want to be the center of attention the whole time, and someone else having a romantic moment takes away from that. For me, it's about friends and family having a good time and I can share in other's joy. But at the end of the day, the most important thing is to ask for permission and not forgiveness to know the distinction. People pay a ton of money to host their wedding, respect their boundaries and don't trample over them. That's always why "wedding drama" occurs. people pushing boundaries.

Drained water from places suffering from drought for absolute pennies.

Made African mothers dependent on their milk formula, which they gave for free, until their milk dried up. Then they required them to purchase it, mothers could not afford it, mixed in too little to fulfill nutrient needs, and mixed it with polluted water. Children died.

Used slavery to produce their cocoa.

Pushed for water to be considered a “want” not a “need” and is at the forefront of arguments that water is not a human right.

Poisoned Chinese infants with melamine in their milk formula.

Demanded Ethiopia pay a debt owed to Nestle, during a FAMINE.

Price-fixed food items.

Contributed to deforestation for their cocoa farming.

The worst thing is, Nestle owns TONS of other brands, making it difficult to avoid for certain products.
