Shen Chanjuan is my most fleshed out SVSSS OC I made who is the mother of Shen Jiu, OG!Qinghua and Shen Yuan who has lived countless lives trying to protect her sons and get them happiness only to watch them suffer and die before making the hard decision to give up existing as a strange ghost who gets reincarnated only to reincarnate when all her children die and repeat their cycle again. She repeatedly tries to become a God or God-like being(ending up as something of a calamitous beauty instead after killing the Ruler of Diyu for repeatedly breaking his promises to aid her and taking advantage of her ambition for power by pointing her towards his enemies and absorbing his Godhood to replace him, thus leading her to be heavily limited by the other Gods and having limited power in the human realm to actually help her children) in order to have power to interfere in the divine mechanisms forcing her children's path. Her meddling and the misunderstandings from mortals ended up earning her the name Xuannu, to her amusement and mockery since she has always stated that she does not forgive and has never been peaceful. She shares disdain for men with Shen Jiu because in her various lives, she has lived her life in brothels in order to at least feed her children after being abandoned.

She's elegant but has a powerful presence, almond eyes seeming to look down on you and scrutinizing you. Her hair is usually done up in half up, half down styles with braids and floral accessories. She paints her lips in dark rouge to play into the calamitous beauty rumor and lines her eyes in the same shade. Her hair is a dark shade of soft brown curls which OG!Qinghua shares unlike Shen Jiu and Yuan's black straight black which they share with their (currently nameless) father

The unreliable narrator that is Shang Qinghua haunts my thoughts almost daily because he quite literally wrote ten thousand words a day? He survived this long in a world he half remembers, managed to make it as a spy and peak lord, had plans and ideas that were somewhat coherent and worked out in the long run even if not fully in tact, and he still had the audacity to think himself on the lesser end of characters in the world.
