💔Do that again💔

Apparently, I seem to like to cause myself pain. I planned on drawing this scene for ages and finally, i found the time and energy to do so.

It’s still one of the most painful, terrible, beautiful and tragic kisses in TV history in my humble opinion💔

Today Aziraphale decided to paint the library Serpent’s Gold (as he’d come to think of the shade he’d matched precisely to his Husband’s eyes).

Moving books by hand only was his rule, so he didn’t ask for help with the task of emptying shelves. Crowley nevertheless showed up immediately, wearing his sleeve garters and treating each of their books with the utmost care.

And somewhere in these particular mundane iterations of setting up house, Aziraphale felt his heart stitch one more crack together. Perhaps it’s not much of a surprise that a day of book cosseting and sweaty demon ogling is good for the soul.

Something to add to the rotation, then.

I'm in love with impressionism and I want to include it in my work. In order to do so, I need to study the style first, which led to this personal project of painting Aziraphale and Crowley in some of the scenes which Monet painted in his work.

That was the initial thought, then while trying to post on IG, I came up with short writings to give my audience a context. Now, I don't know if I could continue writing silly short conversations between the husbands to accompany the paintings in the future, but oh well let's just do it while I can.

Sorry for the yap. I have only done 3 paintings so far...

Having them together, I finally see that I have a thing for green...

Pencil and charcoal drawings. I worked on Crowley's portrait for 6 weeks. And I spent 19 weeks working on Aziraphale's portrait. These two drawings are among my favorites 🥹

For the @gosummerbang, I had the pleasure of drawing for @on1occasionfork's story again!! ---- Who would've thought a romance could work so well in a dry cleaning AU? But somehow it does, and I'm so grateful for the existence of this story.

I especially loved the art-house cinema feel throughout it. The quiet moments where they communicate almost entirely through eye contacts, expressions, and body language (and yes, it'll all make sense later in the story). ----

The first chapter of To Form and Dignity is out now, and I highly recommend giving it a read!

I'm linking Fork's post instead of the fic directly because Tumblr will absolutely kill this post otherwise. 😭
