How do you see the characters telling their s/o something embarrassing they did or something they hate about themselves??
since my character limit is only 6 characters, ill just choose 6 and just make it really short, so im sorry! i hope you enjoy though! (๑•́ ₃ •̀๑)
something they hate about themselves: It would honestly take him a lot of courage to do such a thing, since he tends to be very secluded with his feelings. Sans would definitely be more quieter than usual and his puns would be really off, since his mind was often clouded with horrid thoughts. He would be really closed off about it for a while, but once he admits it, he’s very quiet and tends to look everywhere except at you. Although he may pull of jokes during it, his face has sadness written all over it, and its pretty damn obvious. You feel a tug in your heart, wishing that he would never feel discomforted about himself, and holding back many words to say to him. once you reassure him, he feels a sense of relief and thanks the heavens above for sending an angel like you.
something embarrassing they did: There’s no way papyrus could successfully hide anything from you. hes a terrible liar, and you know that by heart, so when you caught the “oh-so-great” papyrus trying on your dresses, you decided to bring it up during your shared dinner. He frantically tried to deny it while sweating bullets, downing his plate of spaghetti tacos while doing so. He suspiciously tries to over defend himself as if he murdered someone, when really, it was just a small issue. You raise a brow and he breaks into tears, admitting loudly that he’s guilty of doing such a discomfiting act and begs you not to abandon him. With a short laugh and a slap on the shoulder, you hug him and reassure him that you were never angry, and would never leave him.
something embarrassing they did: Since Grillby tends to have a soft side towards you and only you, its almost impossible to keep things from you, no matter what it may be. Unlike papyrus, hes more mature and is willing to tell you straightforward of his disconcerting actions, although he would still continue to feel embarrassed. He would openly admit every detail of the incident and ask you to live it down and not playfully taunt him like you usually do until he’s over all the embarrassment. He smiles when you agree and both of you continue on with the topic of embarrassing moments for countless hours.
something they hate about themselves: You would think that the famous star of the undergound was too prideful to find wrong in himself, but he was actually insecure of many things. From his appearance to his personality, head to toe and inside and out. He’s very open with you and doesn’t hesitate at all when telling you his insecurities because he knows that you’ll never use it against him or poke at it. He’s not too sad about it, but also not happy at all while admitting it. He may pull a joke from here to there, but rarely. He would tell you what was pestering him at the moment and you would reassure him that he was perfect, regardless of his thoughts that invaded his mind. Little did you know, his insecurities would slowly fade every time you were by his side, picking him up and supporting him with a never ending smile.
something embarrassing they did: Undyne is almost never willing to admit defeat, even if its futile to aim for victory. In this case, 101% percent of her pride is still at her max and she never lets her guard down. Although she knows she did something embarrassing, and you caught her red-handed, she still denies it till this day, ignoring every remark you’d make to her. You would often tease her about it and bring it up just to blow off her temper. But instead of that, she answers with a prideful, “Me? Undyne the Great? Embarrassing herself in front of her lover AND the kingdom?! NO WAY, KIDDO. IN YOUR DREAMS!!” You just shrug it off and roll your eyes at her ego, biting back a smile. Kissing her temple, you sarcastically repeat the same response. “Sure, babe.”
something they hate about themselves: Alphys is very self conscious of herself and its pretty noticeable to everyone around her. She doesn’t openly admit it right away, and decided to keep it from you, afraid she might cause trouble towards you if she vented. You, of course, noticed her strange actions recently, such as her sweating and fidgeting more often. You sigh and ask her whats going through her mind while gently grabbing both her hands and intertwining your fingers with hers. You stared at her straight in the eyes as she sighed sadly, looking down at her feet anxiously. She tells you her insecurities and how its been clogging up her thoughts for weeks, preventing her from thinking straight. She then apologizes hysterically, expecting you to get angered at her for keeping it a secret, but instead, you pull her to your arms and whisper sweet things to her and thanking her for trusting you. She breaks down in your arms and swears that she was the luckiest monster alive in the undergound.
