wherever dean wants to be normal sam accepts himself as a freak and wherever sam wants to be normal dean accepts himself as a freak and there’s NOTHING either of them can do about it it’s just fucking insane. dean wants to be the most normalest at being a man and sam is just hanging out with his hair and his half-caf vanilla lattes. sam wants to be a normal college kid and dean is like Yeah i’m gonna be utterly distanced from any semblance of society until the day i die in some fucked up way what about it? dean is the closed fist of normalcy but he is SO not normal sam is the hand outstretched towards normalcy but he’s a whole new level of freak!
