i want to be skinny so i can feel human
how i lost 30 pounds in just a few months!
do you want your hip bones, collarbones, and shoulder blades to peak out this summer? these are my tips :)
- learn to say no. i’m serious, anytime someone offers you food think of it as poison, they’re trying to sabotage you!!
- walk!! please guys cardio is one of the best ways to lose weight, get a walking pad or walk outside on trails at parks, make sure to do it at a brisk pace!
- get the app Lose It! it’s one of the best apps to keep track of your calories, make sure to put in EVERYTHING you eat down to the oil you use to cook with, it has so many exercises to log as well! it’s the best app!
- put your deficit at 800 cals! that is the absolute most you will eat a day, but remember even if you go over it, for normal people their deficits are 1,200 cals!
- diet drinks! drink as much diet drinks as you can, it helps your sugary cravings and doesn’t make you gain!
- one and done rule. if you absolutely cannot resist a sweet treat, just have one and be done. or even chew it up and spit it out, trust me seeing the gross chewed up food will take your craving right away! it’s okay to give in a little, just make sure not to binge! don’t be greedy
- anytime you can, do workouts. laying in bed? do sit ups! watching the tv on the couch? crunches! using the bathroom? squats. don’t let your body stay still when it could be working toward your goal!
- weights! get some small dumbbells, preferably soft small ones like 5-10 lbs, use it to tone your arms! remember you could be losing weight faster and more efficient if you did exercise while ⭐️rving
- cold baths! babe now i knowww having cold water on your bare skin is horrible but no one said this process will be easy. fill up your tub with cold water, not too cold or else you’ll get sick! but definitely cold enough to make you shiver, sit in it for as long as you can. 10 mins burns 133 cals, 20 burns 266, 30 burns 399, and 45 mins burns 599. plus it makes your skin super smooth!
- wear baggy clothes around your family, if you don’t want them to be nosy or worried about you, don’t let them see, savor in your success on your own private time until you’re done with your journey!
- get a beautiful piece of clothing, something you absolutely adore! make it a priority to fit beautifully in it, use that as your motivation, hang it up on your wall by your bed, stare at it at night just imagining how perfectly it will fit you one day
- cook or bake for your family, one of the best ways to suppress your appetite is to make the food. for some reason this works so well for me, you go through all the work that at the end you don’t even feel hungry!
- for my ladies, remember, a lovely caring woman shares her food with the hungry and children. give the food you do have to those that need it more.
everything about my my 2025-2026 program
hii guys! this is my very first post, so this is super exciting to me.
if i’m being honest with myself , i’ve spent most of 2025 procrastinating and not taking my goals seriously. i haven’t completed much, and i’m tired of staying stuck in the same spot. so i’ve decided that i can’t keep this up. from today, i’m choosing discipline, consistency, and real progress.
since i’m on summer break right now, i’m starting early to build the habits that will carry me through the school year. thanks to bloomzone’s blog, i discovered her method of creating “arcs” for when you want to set goals. the idea is to create clear categories of goals and add smaller micro goals to create a organized system. here’s my personal version, and maybe it will help someone else too!
my dream goal list is divided into 9 categories;
1. arc of studying
2. arc of reading
3. arc of solitude
4. arc of education
5. arc of lifestyle
6. arc of health
7. arc of faith
8. arc of joy
9. act of selfcare
1. arc of studying:
- i want to excel in all of subjects in school while actually learning the material rather than memorizing
- i want to organize my time and create a daily routine to keep myself in check
- i want to develop my weak points in core subjects like math, science, french and english
2. arc of reading:
- i want to read 2-3 books a month and journal the meaning of the books and life lessons learned form the books
- i want to explore different genres of books like philosophy and historical fiction
- but i want to mainly focus on self help and science books.
3. arc of solitude:
- i want to go on solo dates with myself like walks in the forest, solo cafe dates, library study sessions, reading under a tree ect.
- i want to journal daily to get to know myself and ask myself hard questions
- i want to love myself more and be my own best friend
4. arc of education
- i want to be at a intermediate level in korean
- i want to pass TOPIK 1
- i want to improve my grammar skills in english and french by doing essay prompts, listening to podcasts, and reading a lot in both languages
- i want to gain a basic level in my mother’s tongue and be able to hold a short conversation
- i want to gain knowledge in subjects that i usually don’t interest myself in like politics, history, humanities and culture
5. arc of lifestyle:
- i want to fix my space and keep it clean
- i want to organize and decorate it to my liking
- i want to make my home somewhere to look forward going too and making in aesthetically pleasing
- i want to make my space motivating for my goals
6. arc of health:
- i want to do consistent workouts and stretching
- i want to do strength training 4x a week and cardio 2x a week
- i want to do yoga + stretching daily
- i want to achieve 10k steps (NO EXCUSES)
- i want to eat healthy focusing on protein, fibre, healthy fats and no processed sugar/food
- i want to drink 2L of water
- i want to be consistent with medication and vitamins
- i want to sleep 8 hours minimum
- i want to do lymphatic dranage exercises
7. arc of faith
- i want to be consistent with my 5 daily prayers
- i want set a aside time in the morning for 15 mins of quran (practice of pronunciation)
- i want to watch tafsirs often like when getting ready
- i want to complete my morning and night dhikr
- i want to pray tahajud twice a week
- i want to fast twice a week as much as i can
- i want to attend jummah often
8. arc of joy:
- i want to cut out anything that disturbs my peace (people, social media, ect)
- i want to place clear boundaries with people around me
- i want to take time out for hobbies that i enjoy
9. arc of selfcare
- i want to find a body, skin and oral care routine that works for me
- i want to find a signature scent and stick to it
- i want to do everything showers 2x a week
- i want to take care of my hair
- i want to take care of neglected parts like my feet
so in order to achieve my goals from my 9 arcs i need to set in place a few small daily habits to keep me consistent, these are my habits;
- have a set morning and night routine that stays consistent
- wake up early and sleep early
- fajr and skincare in the morning
- morning journaling and daily planning
- daily duas to ask allah to keep me consistent (inshallah)
thank you so much bloom for inspiring me to post this! i hope you continue creating your amazing posts.
lots of love,
mariam
omg thank you sooo much for actually using the goal-setting method that means a LOT! May Allah protect you always and help you reach every single one of your goals as long as you stay consistent and keep showing up for yourself I’m really proud of you 💖🎀
I'm drained, tired of everything around me and everyone in it. I just want some peace.
A little pink studycore because I start university soon🥰🌸 why not romanticize nourishing our brains? We aren’t done learning until God is done with us!🩷

Yang Ze, from a poem titled "Life Is Not Worth Living," featured in Modern Chinese Poetry: An Anthology
Why do i need to watch other people change their lives before i can find the motivation to start changing mine?
I know the basics. I know what to do to make myself feel less miserable. Yet here I am, searching up blogs and watching videos of other people pulling themselves out of the hellhole they've been living in — as if I'm a kid watching others jump off the diving board first, trying to gather the courage to make my own leap.
Yet watching and reading about all these people never changed anything for me.
honestly, I don’t remember the last time I wasn’t late for work
I don’t remember the last time I actually took care of myself
I don’t remember the last time I spend time with my friends
I don’t remember the last time I wasn’t worrying about something
