I just wanted to let you know that I'm a fan of your writing. It's a level of mastery of the English language that I aspire to achieve when I grow up (which should be any day now. I'm only in my 30s after all). Build Mode Trick: Textures

You may already know that holding ALT lets you apply wall or floor textures to almost any object in the game, even ones that aren't normally recolourable:

For whatever reason, this floor stone texture makes things invisible. By applying it, you can hide parts of all kinds of objects and create some pretty interesting results.

Want to put a plant inside an oversized basket? Fill a bowl with popcorn? Stick toothbrushes in a random mug? Now you can!

Hi. Thank you so much for the townie pool - I’m playing with them now and having an absolute blast. They’re all so wonderfully quirky and distinct. I noticed that Mata in the townie pool seems to have slightly different stats/OTH/etc. compared to the downloadable version. Is that intentional? Is there perhaps a master sheet somewhere with the townie pool households and their characteristics? Thank you again for sharing your work - and apologies for the questions.

As for Mata - I really don't remember, I made this template several years ago. I do have a spreadsheet with the stats for the add-on sims - posting as a screenshot under a read more, because the original file is lined to my professional email and so I'd rather not share it. I used to have a spreadsheet with the main template sims, but it looks I deleted it at some point. :(

There needs to be more drama where most of the characters are over the age of 50. I want to watch two mortal enemies that have had beef with each other for like 45 years, and they still want to fucking kill each other, but as much as they both fucking hate it, they now have mutual grandchildren.

Better Argue Anims

For an unknown reason, Maxis used 'agree' talk anims for the argue interaction. Especially weird as it always causes a relationship hit. In my book, that's the opposite of agreeing.

This mod replaces the argue anims with ones that look, well, arguing. No more enthusiastic smiling while being rampaged at.

Should be base game compatible. I don't know anything this conflicts with, but run HCDU to be sure.
