mbodyserver needed to match and had a horrendous mesh so I frankensteined the maxis mesh with silivrin’s better pants, needless to say it left me with a mesh that looks weird in the back but it was acceptable (and red!) for me. Maybe it will be acceptable for some of you. TM-EM.
Have you ever wanted some utilities to make your houses look more realistic? Well, I really did, so I converted SIXAM's Home Improvements set; it's 49 objects in total! 🛠️ You'll have lots of things to decorate your basements, garages, bathrooms or backyards. I tried to make as many objects functional as I could, and kept a deco version too, so you can pick and choose.
This was a massive undertaking, took me MONTHS, but I'm glad I did it, and boy am I glad to be done with it too 😅
You can find the original Sims 4 set here, by SIXAMcc. A collection file is included in the download for convenience. It’s also low poly and basegame compatible. Also lots of credits !!

Onto the technicals. There's a lot of info, but the most important is in the blockquote below. Everything you need should be included in the folder.
⚠️ You'll need Midge's Custom Alarm for the Burglar Alarm to work, which I included in the download. You'll also need to keep the craftable objects for the Workbench in your download folder.
You can have every Deco and Functional object in your game at the same time ‼️ You can pick and choose what you want.
💧 The Water Pipe Large is repo'd to the Thin one and the Gas Pipe Horizontal is repo'd to the Vertical one. The Drain 02 is repo'd to Drain 01.
There's a working Faucet I cloned from this one by @jacky93sims (you can't wash babies with it). The AC Split & AC Mini Split 💨💨 are also cloned from her Air Conditioner and are repo'd to each other. They're based on Simlogical Air Conditioning, which regulates a room's temperature. You can read the details here.
The Tank Water heater & Tankless Heater are cloned from @lordcrumps' For Rent conversion here. They should act like solar panels ☀️ and take money off your bills, like his do.
🛠️ The Workbench is cloned from @deedee-sims' functional Woodworking Bench. I've included her craftable objects in the folder, you'll need them for the Workbench to work.
I modified the Workbench Table to work as a Computer Desk, and shortened the Stool so it could be sat upon. Both work well together.
Finding the correct category for each item was driving me insane. If you want to change the category, I recommend using Pick'N'Mix Object Relocator. It's very easy to use! If you load the objects first in-game, you'll get previews to help you sort them out in the relocator.
You do need a copy of LordCrump’s Shadow Files for the shadows to work though, but I have included a copy in the zip, as always.

There are too few curly hairs out there, and even less curly hairs with bangs, so as a curly girl I decided to ta saken i egna händer 💃
This is Arcia's Lea hair but with bangs for AF-EF. You can use both my mesh and Arcia's original at the same time. I repo'd half of the textures back to mhairdavid from M&G, which I defaulted using these textures from @y2sims. This means that both M&G and my default are required for my recolor files of the hair to show up correctly. If not using my default, the hair will look weird. Since I defaulted using the textures from y2sims, I re-used y2sims' recolor file, meaning you have to delete their file before installing mine.

Unfortunately my bangs have some transparency issues I don’t know how to fix. I tried merging them with a variety of groups but it didn't help sadly.
While I was at it, I made *new recolors for Arcia's original Leah hair and repo'd them back to Maxis' textures and to the textures in my edit of y2sims' recolor file I mentioned above. I also repo'd the male recolor file from y2sims' for Acria's male Leon hair, to umhairdavid. Again, I re-used their file so make sure you delete it as well. Basically, if you install all files, you get 3 (4 if you include Maxis david hair!) hairs all using the same textures. If you're confused which files are dependent on what and which files you must delete, there is a clear list included in the download<3
*Using @deedee-sims' recolors as a base, bc for some reason the gray hair didn't show up when cloning using Arcia's files. My files don't conflict with DeeDee's.

Other defaults for hairdavid, if they are created the correct way (i.e made with new resources, not replacing the textures like I did in my default), they should be compatible with my default. Oh and also, I merged the AM/EM Leon hair with the TM version (because why have two files when you can have one?) so delete any Leon meshes you might have and replace it with mine. I would love a TF version of Lea and my v2 version (with bangs) but I'm not talented enough to try and do that 🤡
This hair is very similiar to my own hair irl, so I made a second brown recolor matching my hair color. This is included and I've merged every rec for all meshes inside it, so this single file (this specific brown recolor that is) will work with all of the meshes included. I think I have binned it correctly? Do let me know if anything in this download is wonky, I'm sure I have fucked up somewhere haha. Compressed, no mipmaps and all meshes are included with thanks :-)
I've had this hair in my folder since 2021. Everytime I poke at hairs I remind myself of how much I absolutely despise it. You hair meshers/converters/recolorers out there are SUPERHUMAN, I could never!!

I may have shamelessly stolen this idea from TS2 Extender, but I made this for myself to help my sanity while debugging, and to reduce the risk of carpal tunnel syndrome from repeatedly mashing the ESC key. It simply patches out those abrasive intro movies, so you'll never again have to have your ear drums blown out by "SUL SUL!".
a simple hat recolor conversion while i procrastinate on making hair previews. sixteen swatches, i didn't convert the rest because the textures didn't look good. mesh by @mdpthatsme required and included. as with most hats it clips with many hairs so be aware of that.

Firstly, I know I am posting A LOT but I just saw this mod work. I saw a townie in Twinbrook that got set on fire due to the summer heat and I saw my custom memory and got excited!!! The above image was just a test :P
These mods come with a custom memory. In the unmodded game, Sims only get a generic memory for fire in any form.
With my mod, Sims will also get a memory for being ON fire!
The memory is called "Got Set on Fire!"
If you use the Pyromaniac 3t2 trait, these Sims will have a GOOD (green) memory from being set on fire. Daredevils will also get a good memory. Everyone else gets a bad memory.
You don't need traits to use this memory, just Easy Inventory Check.
BOTH files in the ZIP are required. Download "ys2g_MEM_setonfire" AND ys2g_MEM_setonfire_event" to use this mod.

Ever wished for some really Australian looking trees for the Sims 2? Me too.
I have finally overcome my fear of trees, with much support from amazing friends like @tvickiesims, and would like to share some gifts with you all.
Read on below
Firstly, a while ago, @jacky93sims fulfilled a request to convert some Yeronga Trees. I've taken those, recoloured them a little (cos they were a bit too "green" lol) and made hood deco versions too.

These are super pretty, I quite love them.
Next, I found a free model online for a Ghost Gum tree and went "ohhhh, pretty!!!!" and made that into a hood & lot tree.

Then, I got my fingers into the amazing, wonderful work of Tvickiesims, and I messed around with a buuuuuuunch of trees, mostly just re-sizing and retexturing things. I would like to give a HUGE shoutout to Vickie for ALL of her amazing trees and her support during my project.

I also took a tree she'd done called the Salix tree and made a slightly larger hood deco version cos I thought it looked a bit like a peppercorn tree, which is technically a South American tree but these are alll over NSW:
I, erm, may have gotten a little carried away.
The fun thing about Australian gums is that there's
a) a million different varieties, and
b) they're all super unique, so I felt like I needed many different tree models😂

Just in case you've never really seen a great big old Australian Gum Tree before 😊 They can be quite huge and rather spectacular!
All trees are "seasonal" as in they have snowy states and should not flash blue in any season (hopefully), and some have flowering states in select seasons. However, Eucalyptus / Gum trees are evergreen so don't change colour or lose their leaves in autumn and tend to stay about the same year-round, so the season variability is fairly low 😊

Invisible Chessboard & Board Games - for The Sims 2
I made an invisible chessboard as a new object (not default) so your sims can "pretend" playing multiple games.
It looks like an OMSP with an invisible recolor. The arrows will help you place the two chairs correctly.
First, place it on the ground together with two chairs. After they slide into position, you can place one of the deco board games I converted (or any other deco board you already have in your game) on a table of your choice. Then place the table on the square and voilà! Even the chess pieces will be invisible.
You can find the deco games under Hobby-Miscellaneous. I also converted some of the game boxes. The invisible chessboard can be found in the same category as the original chessboard.
Board games are from Aroundthesims, low poly.

Replaces the head and the social bunny textures. Clean textures (with missing eye restored) are by Phaenoh, I included them because I edited a few pixels around the eyes to make the blinking animation look better.
Both eyes are animated.

Sims can’t flush toddler potty balloons or aquarium fish down the stall’s toilet but I don’t think the bg toilet stall lets sims do that either. The bonfire is a default replacement for the uni original (no more bear chairs on fire). Thanks as usual to @hugelunatic for their kind and smart help!
