When people say that Ron and Hermione were bad for each other and that’s why they shouldn’t be together, they literally seem to be forgetting that they were freaking kids.
Like…kids!!
They grew up. By the time the Battle of Hogwarts came about, Ron and Hermione had forgiven each other for every hurtful insensitive thing they have ever done. I fully believe that they moved on from that moment.
When JK said she “regretted putting them together” (which she didn’t actually say in the interview ppl just interpret it however they want) she meant that she now saw that originally she had put them together to fulfill a fantasy of hers. And she might have had clouded judgment because of that. Not that they were actually bad for each other. Characters don’t have to be perfect puzzle pieces that slide together easily for them to in a valid relationship.
For that, all that is needed is love, and the willingness to compromise, grow and listen. And Hermione and Ron have that in spades.

Fellow white people, don’t just reblog or share mlk jr.’s more palatable “hate cannot drive out hate” type quotes and ignore the fact that he also said challenging things like this. We must hold ourselves accountable. We must not be lukewarm. And there is never a “more convenient season” to act to secure rights for all people – the time is now.
He also had a speech to the APA that openly called out white people for caring more about “riots” and damaged property than the fact that Black people were suffering under institutional violence.
He called out white people regularly for their lack of empathy for Black lives and their continuance to spout respectability at Black people than hold the white policymakers accountable for their racism.

It is no secret that magic folk do not deal with the likes of muggle technology, for what could these mundane trinkets accomplish that magic could not? Although this sentiment has echoed across continents and generations, even the most stubborn could not resist the peculiarities of our universe as muggle space exploration advanced far beyond our solar system. The inkling of an idea for a wizarding space program started with a group of fanatical astronomy students, who created their own wizarding radio programme to recount and enthuse over man’s expeditions into the mystery of space. Although the programme gained a substantial amount of loyal listeners, it is not until a movement to adapt technology to magical environments succeeded in America that the possibility for advances in wizarding space science beyond rudimentary astronomy courses became a reality. It would take decades and countless classified meetings between presidents and ministers of wizarding and muggle territories to establish an academy that would benefit both muggle and wizarding sciences. Many renowned magical theorists were brought on board in the early days to research, adapt, and establish magical practices in technological and alien environments. Now, the academy offers a range of courses such as planetary herbology, wizardry and interstellar travel, and elemental transfiguration. Although the academy, much like space exploration itself, is still very much in its early days, students and professors alike are already pushing magic far beyond what was previously thought possible. A new dawn in space exploration is sure to come. But for now, per aspera, ad astra.

I would like to clarify something about the trophy the athletes are receiving, because I have read things that are not worthy of mention.
The trophy given to athletes is the 3D Olympic logo of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. The logo was inspired by the Sugarloaf Mountain curves and the Brazilian & Olympic spirit.
As you can see in the picture the logo ‘fits’ perfectly in the shape of the mountain and looks like it’s being embraced by the three athletes featured on it (yes, each color is the representation of a person): a goal keeper, a rower and a volleyball player.
Not only they embrace the mountain, but each other representing the welcoming spirit of the Brazilian people but also conveys the ideal Olympic spirit.
While for several people is a ‘multicolored mess made by children in crafts’, the logo colors are the ones in the Brazilian flag: yellow, blue and green.
In the logo you can read the word ‘Rio’ (green forms the letter ‘R’, the yellow forms the letter ‘I’ and the union of the yellow and blue you can see the ‘O’, pretty fucking cool if you ask me).
The trophy can also be used as a medal holder.
The logo is a complex visual identity that represents Rio and was created to be universally understood.
