mum and I have only £8000 to live on. I seriously need help with this. Someone has stolen my bank card and book so we’re living on a thin edge right now wondering if I even have any money left myself. the anxiety is making me sick and she is already in poor health herself from the constant hospital trips and her life-long illness of lymphoedema. I have mental health issues that mean I can’t work, I am constantly having emotional break downs right now. on a serious note, i had to stop my last journal about commissions because a problematic person was snooping through my page after endangering some of my friends, but this is a risk i now have to take because i can’t allow things to get any worse. i’m charging even less, now, at £15 for a simple coloured/shaded image with transparent bg. i’ll draw: - creatures - simple non-mecha/non-humanoid digimon - pokemon/fakemon - orikero - sonic fcs - make a character for you based on a description you give if you can’t spare £15 then please advertise this journal for me. i have examples of various different art styles in my gallery, except paint-y because there just is no time to take on orders for that style because it takes too much time that i don’t have. if you do want to commission me it must be in GBP/real money and not points. we need this for our bills and food, my mum is diabetic so she can not afford to skip meals at risk of buggering up her blood sugar and endangering herself.

If you’re being abused by your partner, and you’re reading this right now, then you have awe-inspiring strength.

You’re suffering, but you have the courage to seek out ideas on how to take care of yourself.

I’m guessing you haven’t come across many tips like these. When I was being abused, the only advice I found was about how to leave an abusive partner, or how to heal after you’ve left.

In this society we sometimes talk about abuse victims being strong after they leave, but frame them as weak before hand. I think that is so wrong. Living in an abusive relationship takes a strength that most people cannot even comprehend. you’re not weak because you stay. there are a million reasons why we stay because, frankly, abusers actively work to keep their victims trapped. 

So know that if you’re in an abusive relationship right now as you read this, I think you are strong as fuck, and I am rooting hard as hell for you.
