“No she did not. At the end of the conversation she decided she was better suited to pass along the message. I didn’t argue. The less time I have to spend in their presence the better for everyone.’ He kissed her softly before taking a sip of his drink. “i think maybe you should punish me anyway. i did lose my cool a little. Told her where to stick it.”
“Right,” she drew the word out with a short laugh at the end. “I guess I’ll have to talk to her then.” She smiled knowingly at her husband. “I think that’s probably best for everyone involved.” Lexi sighed looking into his eyes, “You know what you’re right, how are you ever going to learn your manners.” she smirked, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
