I’m posting this here as a tribute for my dog. I will miss him terribly so I wrote a send off poem for him:

How long is forever?

Do you ever wonder when someone says forever

How long forever will be?

Is it like waiting for the first coat of paint to dry?

Is it as short as a bee sting or a sound in your ear that rings?

Your life only holds about 13 years, so I guess that is all forever will be to you
