I should not have slept on the 28 Years Later movies
28 Weeks later was so disappointing compared to the first movie that I just did not trust them
But they're good. Not regular movie good, but horror movie good. It's continual whiplash between complete nonsense and the coolest shit you've ever seen. You will be entertained at the very least.
If there was any justice in the world Samson 28yearslater would be tumblr's next big blorbo. Committed terrible acts while not in control of his own mind and body? Check. Has memories of a time before that he can scarcely keep hold of? Check. Has a loving friend who stands by him no matter what? Check. Oh hey did the actor come out and say he considers that relationship to be a love story? Why yes he did. Check. Not entirely human in some sense? Check. Big sad eyes? Double check.
