LGBT family is homeless and needs help!!! (Summer Edition)
My family is homeless and struggling to find work so we can get out of this situation. I have a lead but it's taking a long time for them to get through the preliminary hiring process so I have no idea how long that could end up taking. In the mean time, we have no income and my wife and I have been dealing with recurring illness and pain every day while struggling to make ends meet. I'm burning out really bad and our support system is almost completely gone at this point.
At the moment, we need help affording temporary shelter, food, toiletries, medicine, and important bills (car/phone/etc.). We are falling behind on pretty much everything right now with less coming in and more being asked of us and we've been having to go to the doctor much more often as our health has been declining. We need rest to recover but there is just so much stress and it's so hot outside. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I meant to finish this before Pride Month, but better late than never! Drawing overtly romantic things is very, very unfamiliar to me, but it was interesting trying something new.

Hello, I was contacted by this user: https://www.tumblr.com/helpayoosh8200?source=share who claims to be vetted by you but when I followed the link provided it led me to several posts alerting people about a scam. Just wanted to bring this to your attention.
Thank you for bringing this issue to my attention. This was brought up to me before and upon further investigation I was able to conclude that not only was Ayaa legitimate but that the individual who had claimed she was a scam was targetting her out of racist malice. (for clarification: her fundraiser had already been verified IN Ghazzah by Mohammed Ayesh, so I had little doubts myself, but I was able to further verify details for my followers in case the 'evidence' was worrying).

The accusations against Ayaa were unfounded and created by someone out of malice. I can guarantee you that you can safely support her fundraiser knowing your money will be going to a Ghazzawi family that genuinely needs it.
the thing is i dislike arguments that equate the social position of children to the social position of women 1 to 1 bc it obfuscates the reality that children (just like members of every other social class) can be subject to misogyny / benefit from male supremacy. however it's true that furthering the position of women is dependent on furthering the position of children & vice versa since both misogyny & adultism are enforced by the patriarchy + approx 50% of children are female & approx 30% of female human beings are below the age of 18
the bitter irony is that girls, stranded at the intersection of misogyny & adultism, are routinely abandoned by both causes, much as Black women & girls are abandoned by non-Black women & girls and Black men & boys alike. just as boys will discriminate against girls to assert their own superiority, many women – even feminist women! – discriminate against girls & try to distance themselves from girls to assert their competence, independence & value, which girls are assumed to lack. girls do of course benefit from the progression of children's rights & women's rights but we need more recognition of the way girls are specifically impacted due to their marginalized gender & the social & economic vulnerabilities that come with being a child in an adult-centric society
The sorrow is not only about the rabid anti blackness, homophobia, racism and misogyny that this show perpetuated through TVL. It's not only about it destroying and disrespecting the work done by Keith Powell, Dave Harris, Ben Philippe, and A. Zell Williams. But it is also about a future that will no longer get to build itself on the material that these writers and directors crafted with so much love and care in s1. In trying to court a whiter audience and ensuring that they be comfortable, Rolin Jones made sure that AMC!IWTV holds no serious dominion over any seasons going forward. Any and every discussion that were had till TVL aired; about abuse-> especially about abuse informed by racism, can never be had the same way on a public platform ever again, because now when you hit post, there's a chance that inevitably an AMC!TVL fan will wander in with: actually Lestat NEVER abused Claudia like that! She lied, it is canon look it up!
And this truly is the mood on a larger scale- there's so many TVL fans uncritically piling up thousands of notes on posts on Lesdaughter/ Pimp Louis/ Claudia calling Louis slurs/Claudia being most angry at Louis/Louis saying it is his fault for not seeing Armand/ Paul telling Lestat he loves Louis exactly as he needs to be loved/ Femme Lestat so it has to be Masc Louis, bratty!wife Lestat and her husband LDPDL etc etc. Now anytime you try to push against these, fandom in all its racists compulsions will shield itself under TVL's so called canon. So there you have it. A graveyard.
I write to you with tears welling in my eyes, my body wracked with pain every second. I write to you because the ignore me and neglect I've endured hurts me more than my injuries. It is easy to forget just how central military violence has been and remains to business as usual. More than 5 per cent of annual CO2 emissions stem from the militaries around the world. We often talk about flying and how bad it is for the climate, and it is bad, but civil aviation accounts for about 3 per cent of the total. And the 5 per cent that comes from militaries precede actual war: these are peacetime emissions, made in the process of maintaining the logistical apparatuses and fighting capacities of armies before they go to war. When they do go into battle, the fuel is set on fire and the bombs rain down in bursts of concentrated additional emissions. The US, of course, is at the centre of all this. The emissions from the occupation army during the war on Gaza might be counted as just another category of American emissions. The US outweighs every other country; indeed, as Neta C. Crawford notes, 'the US military is the single largest institutional fossil fuel user in the world and thus the world's single largest greenhouse gas emitter In her book The Pentagon, Climate Change, and War, she brilliantly charts the development of what she calls 'the deep cycle' The militaries of first the UK and then the US found coal, followed by oil, to be indispensable for waging war: for manufacturing weapons, transporting soldiers into the battlefield, providing mobility once engaged, bringing firepower to bear on the enemy. My name is Najah, and I am a mother of six children, including newborn twins 👶👶 who need urgent care every single moment.
We are living through extremely difficult days filled with fear, hunger, and the lack of basic necessities 🥺🍞
Sometimes my children go to sleep without enough food, and I stand helpless before their tears because I cannot provide milk, diapers, or medicine for them.
My newborn twins are still so fragile, and their tiny bodies need constant nutrition and care 🍼💔
But our situation has become far beyond my ability to handle, while my other children face hunger, cold, and fear every day.
