MINSEOK
minseok is honestly shameless after having spent almost most of his twenties working in a bar. he’s never hesitated on things before and makes himself seem like a sort of chaotic actor. he offers her a sweet smile. their first date was a fluke and honestly he could have gone for a second back then but she hadn’t really seemed interested in him so he’d ended up just leaviing it as is. their past failure means that the date can only go up from here.
no shame at all. of course they could talk about it and besides fans digging around would have found the date anyway. he’s sure that there’s pictures of them together on his instagram and the bar instagram where he worked. as she slaps his arm, he just winks at her.
“if you say so! i’m always up for trying new things so this will be fun,” he grins at the cameras rolling. he likes to have fun with people and even if their first date was a semi mess, then at least their second can be decent. he grins at her and upon taking her hand, he leads the way. they would entertain and he would keep that up.
leading the way to their date, minseok let out a gasp. he immediately looked at the cameras in disappointment and lowkey shock. “well…i’m not a sports kid…so i don’t know what ya’ll were expecting from me but it’s defintaely not that!” he exclaims, pointing at the kayak.
holding his hand was nice, and it almost felt natural. jiao wasn’t the biggest fan of faking it for the camera ( although she was certainly prepared to do so ), so being able to put on a smile that didn’t want to make her gag was nice. she lets her lips curve upwards with easy, and allows her date to lead her towards their adventure.
she’s dumbfounded. and now really, extra, super extra glad she didn’t wear that skirt.
jiao attempts to laugh it off, but suddenly she’s worried. kayaking? the woman was perfectly aware this wasn’t some extreme sport, but it threatened to make her sweat like it was one. the sound of her laugh is pleasant, but there’s some obvious hesitation laced beneath. she had absolutely had no idea how to do this, and it seemed as if minseok was in the exact same boat as her. no pun intended.
“um... well, i can definitely say that was unexpected.” another small laugh, a quick hand running through her hair just checking to make sure no nervous sweat had trickled to the surface. it takes her a moment to compose herself, to throw on that hopeful attitude she was known for on and off camera. “but it’s okay! it’ll be fun learning how to do this together, don’t you think?”
