Hello hello! Venus here, and I’m the mod of this here blog as well. This is a side AU to the one that @thorns-personal-hell takes place in, and I made this blog purely for funsies! None of this is canon in my main AU!

Also Liam is single and ready to mingle for you FREAKS out there who simp for him… Not gonna name any names, just know I know you’re out there (throwing shade to one of my irls btw)

A ship in the shape of a black top hat lands near the church. Its door opens, and out steps the dark silhouette of a man. His appearance is cloaked by the permanent fog that surrounds the cemetery.

Two small bouquets of flowers he holds. Effortlessly jumping over the gate, he strides towards the center of the cemetery. An air of remorse follows him. Thicker than the fog.

He stops in front of two graves, slowly gets down on his knees, and places the bouquets in front of each headstone.

A drip os heard from his direction. Then another. The sounds are slow but audible. Nothing around could be making any noise.

At least, nothing should.

Liam was at his own gravestone, staring at his name and the death date, taking it all in like he never could before. The roses adorning the headstone, the birthday cards from every year he hadn’t been there, all from her.

He felt horrible for leaving her alone so long. He knew how much his death traumatized her.

He was snapped out of his thoughts by the sounds of the ship and then the drips in the usually silent cemetery, his head whipping in the direction of the noise to try and find its source.

He sees the silhouette of the man, his eyes going a bit wide for a moment before he held out his hand, seemingly channeling some sort of energy.

A rose grew skillfully, almost mesmerizingly from the ground in between the headstones the man was in front of, the sight one that was familiar, yet all anew.

Liam seemed to be trying to send his condolences as well. He knew of the trying times people that grieved went through, he was looking at it firsthand from reading the letters left by his sister.

He takes a shaky breath, about to stand back up before the rose appears between the headstones.

He seemed confused for a second, his head whipping around, almost anxiously.

Quickly standing up, the fog around him disperses, revealing a slightly clearer image of the man.

His hair was... abnormal. Being made of some sort of dripping liquid. Suppose that was the source of the sound.

He seemed to now be aware that someone else was with him in the cemetery, tensing up in agitation.

"𝒲𝒽ℴ 𝒾𝓈 ℴ𝓊𝓉 𝓉𝒽ℯ𝓇ℯ? 𝒮𝒽ℴ𝓌 𝓉𝒽𝓎𝓈ℯ𝓁𝒻, 𝓃ℴ𝓌."

His voice was strict and direct. A contrast to his earlier body language.

Or perhaps, a mask.

Translation: "Who is out there? Show thyself, now."

Well, it’s not like Liam hasn’t experienced death before.

Liam stepped out from the fog, also seeming a bit tense now, but he kept his air of nonchalance like he used to, the skill never having left him.

“Hey now, no need to get snappy. Just adding a bit more foliage for your loved ones. I know how nice of a thing that is to do.” He explained, placing his hands in his pockets.

Roses, heart shaped pupils? Who does that remind Lead of?

Liam seemed to be taking in the man’s appearance, scanning over him, almost calculating. He was intrigued, surely.

He meant no harm. At least, not until if Lead decides to strike. But for now, Liam’s just trying to air out the awkwardness of the situation.

Something about his appearance... sparked some intrigued. He noticed familiar traits of his...

But it couldn't be. He was dead. Yet... the resemblance was so clear.

Brushing off the feeling, he folds his arms behind his back, out of instinct, it seemed.

“Listen, I don’t exactly know anyone that can… Do this.” He trailed off, his tone unsure, and he looked off to the side a bit at his own gravestone that was enveloped in vines in an artistic way that could only come from one who’s grieved deeply.

“I mean… Unless you do.” He added, the rose reabsorbing itself into his hand as he awaited further questioning.

Liam was at his own gravestone, staring at his name and the death date, taking it all in like he never could before. The roses adorning the headstone, the birthday cards from every year he hadn’t been there, all from her.

He felt horrible for leaving her alone so long. He knew how much his death traumatized her.

He was snapped out of his thoughts by the sounds of the ship and then the drips in the usually silent cemetery, his head whipping in the direction of the noise to try and find its source.

He sees the silhouette of the man, his eyes going a bit wide for a moment before he held out his hand, seemingly channeling some sort of energy.

A rose grew skillfully, almost mesmerizingly from the ground in between the headstones the man was in front of, the sight one that was familiar, yet all anew.

Liam seemed to be trying to send his condolences as well. He knew of the trying times people that grieved went through, he was looking at it firsthand from reading the letters left by his sister.
