i feel like i'm getting too cocky. i'm having a hard time remembering that this isn't a game, that getting caught could ruin my life. but i don't want to stop; i'm having so much fun.

lifted a live your life rollerball perfume from american eagle the other day. no cameras, no tags. bent down to put a bra back onto it's shelf and shoved it in my purse. 10/10 would recommend. smells awesome.
also lifted from chapters, a nicolletta ceccoli tarot deck. there were only cameras in the toy department. i'll definitely be going there again--thinking about doing my first-ever haul at that location!! no one hangs around the religion section. a sa may or may not have been following me cause at first i picked up a 50$ notebook, but i ditched it so who cares.
i stole a pack of gum from shoppers drug mart near my school today and all my friends (including the one who was WITH ME WHEN I STOLE IT AND PUT IT IN THE BAG AND SOMEHOW DIDN'T NOTICE) were like... how did u do that... you are the thief lord.. can i be your apprentice...
like. how difficult non-thieves think stealing is constantly amazes me.

Okay so I'm a new lifter. I've lifted small things. My friend is more experience and she wants to take me lifting. I need tips im so nervous. I'm looking to get panties and maybe other I tagged things from VS, shirts and a wallet from hottopic, and maybe if Zumiez has stuff untagged. And Bath and body works. Any tips?
Just be chill and do not, i repeat, DO NOT cling to your friend and keep giving her looks and asking her questions in the store and whatnot. I don’t know if you would do that or not but i have to say don’t do it. I’ve taken a few people lifting with me before and whenever I didn’t reiterate not to look right at me for everything it was almost a trainwreck. Like one time in sephora my friend wanted this highlighter and she just walked up to me with it and held it out and was like what should i do and i was like !!!!!!! Your friend will probably go over some things with you but make sure to be chill. Go over what you’re going to do BEFORE you go in the store because I guarantee your friend will be annoyed if you ask her what to do in the middle of the store because you can’t just explain it while you’re in the store. Bring a structured bag with you for concealing if you have one, or at least one that you can put things in with little hassle.
Panties from VS is easy. I conceal those on the floor but if you’re really nervous about it just get a shopping tote, put them on the bottom, cover them up with bras and apparel and things, and go in the fitting room and put them in your bag (but spend a lil bit more time in there to not be suspicious).
bath and body works is a buffet no tags or towers or cameras. as long as no one’s watching you you’re good to get whatever.
I’ve heard hot topic doesn’t have cameras (i’ve only ever been there a few times in my life) but they do have a lot of things tagged. I don’t know if there’s any truth to that but a lot of people have hot topic stuff in their hauls on here so it can’t be a death trap.
Zumiez should be easy as well. No cameras. (again from what i’ve heard. i haven’t ever even been to a zumiez)
Today and yesterday’s hauls! The scarf haul was all today and totaled about $127 before tax which makes it my biggest haul yet 😄😄 the bra haul is about $40 which makes it my smallest haul, but definitely still loving it 😄
does anyone know how to do makeup?? i’m ginger and have blonde eyebrows + eyelashes and so trying to get makeup to look normal on me is a struggle. i always never bothered to spend money on it cause i knew i would just get frustrated and give up. but now that i can get it for free i’d really like to learn…
if you’re used to not wearing makeup then you’ll think it looks weird on you at first but the more you wear it the more you’ll see what looks good on you. like I started filling in my eyebrows not too long ago but now that I’m used to it they always look fab. when it comes to doing your eyebrows though try and stay as close to your natural shade as possible, maybe just one or two shades darker or else it does kinda look weird at that point…just my two cents ^-^

i went to michaels cause everyone said it was easy
mine had dome cameras EVERYWHERE. it wasn't even funny. one of the isles had a video monitor so you could see yourself being watched. I did find a blind spot in the sketchbook isle, and i could have taken some copic markers, but i was too freaked out cause i was there with my mom and younger siblings and didn't want to get caught. there were only like 2 uniformed workers, but there was one person who kept on walking around me in the art section and looking at me funny. she looked older than you'd expect to be checking out the how-to-draw-anime books and i got sketched out.
also went to winners. one big camera in the front, with a video monitor--obviously so people would freak themselves out before they even started. rest of the store was fine though. ink tags that you could take off with a hook and absolutely no tags on the junior section. also, even though they count their dressing rooms, the rooms themselves go so far back that i'm sure the attendant wouldn't be able to hear the tags beep when you remove them. i also couldn't find a single camera in the rest of the store.
last stop, bulk barn. tiny, loads of cameras and SA's. just not worth it.
snow storm hit so i couldn't go to the mall. maybe i'll go on sunday. idk.

sooooo tomorrow im going to the mall with my friend and im going to scout all the stores i wanna lift from out, get a good idea of where all the blind spots are and what kind of tags they all use. it's going to be pretty hard to keep myself from taking something right then but hopefully i'll manage. also, i need to actually buy a nice bag for lifting, because all i have rn is my backpack and some tiny tiny satchels. lmao the person im going with was terrified when i stole a pack of gum from the dollar store, so i'll have to act normal, which won't be as fun. oh well.
