The security at Gävlebocken this year is crazy. They got fucking Spiderman out there, man...

“I heard a bird sing in the dark of December. A magical thing. And sweet to remember.”

Birds flying high You know how I feel Sun in the sky You know how I feel Breeze driftin' on by You know how I feel
It's a new dawn It's a new day It's a new life For me And I'm feeling good I'm feeling good
Fish in the sea You know how I feel River running free You know how I feel Blossom on a tree You know how I feel
It's a new dawn It's a new day It's a new life For me And I'm feeling good
Dragonfly out in the sun, you know what I mean, don't you know Butterflies all havin' fun, you know what I mean Sleep in peace when day is done, that's what I mean And this old world is a new world And a bold world For me For me
Stars when you shine You know how I feel Scent of the pine You know how I feel Oh, freedom is mine And I know how I feel
It's a new dawn It's a new day It's a new life
It's a new dawn It's a new day It's a new life It's a new dawn It's a new day It's a new life It's a new life For me
And I'm feeling good I'm feeling good I feel so good I feel so good
we were critiquing character designs in class today, when there was a really good one, and someone turned to the artist, holding their laptop. the screen of which just said "WOULD" in big trackpad-drawn letters

Goodbye, Spokane; I’m no longer your city dweller. I’ve become Portland’s newest West Linn ‘transplant’ or trans-plant, as Portland likens new city dwellers to transplanting one vegetative plant from one area into the thriving ecosystem that is Portland.
It's been a long few months breaking up, finding a stable residence, and beginning my rebuild in a new city. My ex and I are still close friends, but she needs the space, and so do I. I haven't decided when I’ll date again, but right now I just want to get started on my new home before inviting anyone in.
My bestie lives in the same city now. She was a heavy advocate for the move, and because of it, I made up a big surprise for her.
I got my iPod Pro Max and iPod Pro to plug into my laptop for a surround-sound experience during a horror movie at the river as a thank-you for the help with the move. I also made hand rolls and Onigiri because she's a big anime weeb.
Found this really cool dual business where it's a restaurant and game store where you can rent games to play over dinner. I can only imagine the great TTRPGs to host here.
Thank you, Spokane, for all you have given me in my career. And you know what, Spokane Doesn't Suck, and Keep Spokane Kinda Gross. I already miss your quirky garbage goat, and I'll return from time to time.
what if in my daily meeting today i stare straight into the camera and start bleeding from my eyes
Trista Mateer, from a poem featured in her collection titled The Dogs I Have Kissed
I love the color of my grinder. I think old stoners would get pissed that I cleaned my grinder of all that crusted hash. But this grinder didn’t get a lot to be worth much. When I can maintain the things I love, they mean a lot more to me.
(That’s why I often loved more deeply expressive emotional women. The highs and lows. It felt like an opportunity to put in what makes you shine for them. Give them the stage and play along with their music.)
I gave it an oil bath to protect the wood, using food-grade tung oil. The oil mellows out the wood's brightness, and I use the same oil for my work desk pen holder.
